June 6 th, 2006 = 6/6/6

The beasts in Daniel and the beasts in Revelation are both seen coming out the the Sea. The sea is turbulent and rough just as mankind is turbulent and unhappy on how their government rules them.
This is not to be confused with the four living creatures near God's throne. The bull here represents, God's Power, the eagle represents God's Wisdom or farsightedness, the Lion represents God's Justice, and the Man represents God's Love, for man is the only physical creature that displays this quality of God.
So the beast of the 666 still could be a form of human government. The UN is sure not looking in the scriptures to set up their charter.
God is allowing these governments to exist until his appointed time.

either way....thats june the first....or june the sixth...never...i repeat never focus on any certain dates.....anyways, keep your eyes peeled...but for what the future holds..you could be blind...it would'nt matter....the change is coming....

But doesn't everyone see? No one in this room knows when it will happen. You've all proven that. The observation of the use of different calendars, times, translations, shows that the possibilities of an exact date being produced are impossible.

For it says in the Bible...

"No one knows about that day or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be on guard! Be alert! You do not know when that time will come." (NIV, Mark 13:32-33)

And it also says...

So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him. (NIV, Matthew 24:43-44)

SO no matter how much we argue, calculate, theoretize, there will be no way will know for sure what the day is. It can't be as simple as saying June 6, 2006 as much as I would like to believe that, but it isn't.

June 6 2006 is not really 6/6/06, the roman historian that began the counting for the calendar starting on the year Jesus was born made a mistake and started the count 3 years later, making the year "0" when Jesus was already 3 years old. That means 6/6/6 already passed and we are going to recieve the year 2009.
That still doesnt mean anything since 666 is the mark of a person, and that one year is not the exact time earth circles the sun! the last minute of 2005 is going to have 61 seconds (leap second) because we know nothing about timing.
Lol... we chould use the mayan callendar, it was 100% exact and didnt had to add leap seconds!!

If the bible is right and the numbers are a date then it would be in the real calender, Not the one the Roman catholic church made up. The original first month of the year was April and there were 360 days in one year. So,,,,,,, September would be the 6th month.: And if the number is not 666 and its 616 then that would be the first of September or if reversed the 6th of April. ....................

Funny somebody should mention June 6th of this year. I don't write in the 2006 in full- I write 06/06/06. So I am not looking forward to June of this year; especially June the 6th, when I have to write a cheque out to the milkman.

My sister-in-law has treble sixes at the start of her phone number. I have also seen cars with the treble six in the plates.

However, June 6th of this year troubles me more than any of the treble sixes that I have encountered. I can't explain why; except that I am not looking forward to the 6th June of this year.

Ok, I'll keep this short since this is probably meaningless but I couldn't help but notice an odd coincidence in regards to that upcoming The Beast movie...

1- The movie is scheduled to be released on June 6 2006 (6-6-6) (Number of The Beast...)

Since the movie is questioning the truth behind the existence of Jesus Christ, and claiming that Christianity has been lying to the world for all these years... Was the Book of Revelation trying to tell us that the release of this movie would have a much bigger impact on the world's beliefs than what one would expect and be therefore responsible for the demise of church?

If the result of this beast movie is the dissolution of the Christian religion, that would also be the end of the satanists. It is not of any useful purpose once the parent faith which they are against is gone. In places where there is no Christianity, there is no satan worship, because satanism is an unintentional byproduct of Christianity. I wouldn't think that one movie could bring down a 1 billion plus strong, two thousand year old entity. It is more likely that if it does disappear, it will be very gradually, over many years. And like some small, ancient faiths that still exist today, like Zarathustrans, I doubt it would ever go completely.
That said, I am no prophet, and I am not trying to say what will happen. Maybe it will bring down the powerful giant, against all odds, it happens sometimes.

I've got a History Channel show regarding Revelations on the Tivo I'll probably watch tonight, and I'll check to see if they make any mention of that theory.

Almost (and I say almost) every barcode begins with a 6, has a 6 in the center, and ends with a 6.

Yes, that's the accepted interpretation. Everything else fits, including the symbolism of the 7 hills (Rome being the city "built on the 7 hills".) Most Christian churches treat this as a screed by John rather than as prophecy. Others keep trying to pound history and current events into an interpretation that will make it come true "any second now" and they'll see all those with the "false interpretations" (that would be the rest of us) smashed and sent to evil places unless we repent.

666 is the number which represents our sun, and 1080 is the moon number. So, maybe this June, the sun will 'burp' and fry us all. On a related note, the Mayan date for the 21/12/2012 solstice is 13.0.0.0.0., and the actual time of the solstice according to the NOAA is 11:11 AM UTC. So don't step on any cracks, be careful with mirrors, ladders, black cats, and salt, and careful what you wish for.

I am looking at 20 objects with barcodes on them right now, and not one of them begins, or ends with a 6, in fact only one of them even has a 6 in it.

The 6's are in the bar code itself. They're not written numerically. Go to the link I posted and it explains where the 6's are. The guy who invented the barcode even admits this on his own website. Although he said his reasoning in using three 6's was purely coincidence.

Think about this guys. It says in the bible anyone not bearing this mark, when under the rule of the antichrist, will not get food, water or anything to eat or survive with.

Picture this: crazy, fundamentalist, evil, Islamic villain nukes the U.S. After the U.S. is gone he takes the whole world hostage with threats of annihilating their countires like he did the U.S. He creates a false peace, and decides there is no use for paper money, credit cards, etc. He then tells the world since society is cashless, everyone will be barcoded and will "be taken care of". If he uses the standard barcode system...everyone would have a 666 tattooed on their hand or forehead......it's not obvious, it's cryptic, just like everything else in the bible.

It literally would become "the number of a man", because every man would be numbered differently, but all would have the subliminal 666 on them.

I will not recieve the mark of the beast, if that does happen to come true. Only the brainwashed masses who rely on manufactored food will get this. I will return to nature and live off the land.

I watched that show I alluded to, and they reference both the 666 and 616 number. As the letters of the Greek alphabet are all assumed numerical values, the 666 number can be interpreted as a code for Nero Caesar. If the number of the beast is in fact 616, then the same logic can be used to arrive at the figure Gaius Caesar, otherwise known as Caligula. Caligula can be viewed as just as logical a target for John's misgivings due to Caligula's insistence in erecting a statue of himself in the proximity of the temple in Jerusalem.

Either way, the line (assuming it's a correct translation) about the number being "human" would certainly fit this concept. This most recent show I watched basically posited what many religious scholars seem to feel in that the book of Revelations is truly more of a commentary on our past as opposed to any imminent future.
