No response for my post of the 06/06/05 above?

Are you content with that?

Are you looking for a fist-fight, mate?

Seriously, you haven't gotten the foggiest clue what I'm trying to point out. Ignorance isn't the only problem, BHR, intellectual laziness is. I'm quite capable of giving anybody a straightforward piece of my mind ... so pardon me for being blunt, not prejudicial.

I can't stand people posting such asinine, misinformed nonsenses and biased spins about the USA. It's just breeding more ignorance, bias and unneeded prejudice toward Americans in general.

- Question buddy. If you feel that people can be turned into hating AMerica and ignoring it's good points, doesn't it follow that the reverse could be true as well? That people can be turned into blindly accepting what America does and not questioning it's leadership?

So, I'll put the question to you bluntly. After all the circumstantial evidense of this war with Iraq happening with or without reason or America citizenry support, then how can you as presumably a free thinking person, look at the situation and side with the person that, apparently, has directly killed 1700 American men and women, apparently take rights and freedoms away at home(For security mind you:lol
and has allowed his buddies to get insanely ricker over this, through the thinist of vails.

How sir do you live with yourself?

Its time we locked these people up.

Clearly AI has chosen the side of the enemy and we need the Feds to come down hard on them as well as the ACLU.....we need to find out who's been funding them and what goals their trying to accomplish. It looks to me like their feeding the enemy propaganda to use against America and her soldiers...

Supporting these scum is treason against America.

since when does evolution involve supporting one's enemies?

this whole thing is ridiculous. how many American PoWs were given due process in Vietnam?

ODD,

Supporting violence is de-evolution, merely colouring people by a term like enemies - it makes it so easy. Ofcourse, when you stop to think of it these people, "enemies" have done nothing to you. You guys are in their land, with guns, and by extension of you being there other militant idiots are there, which ends up killing innocents, and you are angry that they are angry? Leave their home and they will stop shooting. Whether it is apparent to you or not, what the US has done was turn fringe groups into gaining more acceptance because you have proven their case better than they ever could. It is de-evolution to blindly accept violence as a solution when very clearly it causes more conflicts than it ever ends.

"Problems cannot be solved by the same level of thinking that created them." - AE

As for Vietnam, that was thirty years ago. Have you not learned anything in that time? Have you not grown?

I can question my country's leadership when it's necessary. Hell, my state's Republican governor sucks and I'm glad that he's not running for re-election (I wouldn't vote for him anyway). So, in other words, mind your own freaking business.

See? This is another example of a completely misinformed viewpoint. I don't know if you're an American or not, you are looking at things the wrong way, up and down, left and right. We've endured far worse circumstances than what's going on in Iraq and still come out okay. No freedom or rights have been compromised or taken away so far (except criminals founded proven guilty) but people don't view the federal government or the President as the be-all, end-all solution to all problems. Even the wealthiest or top business executive get the shaft (see Dennis Kozlowski of Tyco Inc. being founded guilty for corporate crimes or that Adelphia boss, John Rigas going to prison for 15 years for corporate crimes). Even the SEC is getting more enforcement powers to go after more corporate lawbreakers or wealthy types squirreling or concealing money illegally.

Granted, the USA isn't perfect but that doesn't give you the premise to trash the nation on the basis of its current leadership, the war on terror/Iraq, freedom/rights disappearing overnight and other nonsenses you're sprouting out of your six.
We have our own people taking care of that and most of us aren't that stupid, though we have more important things to do than to worry about all that explosive craziness going on the Middle East. We have confidence, support and trust in our troops in general doing their jobs as best as they can do and we stay out of their ways. We deal with our own and you deal with your own. Clear?

I'm a free-thinking person and I just gave you straight. Don't like it? That's your problem, not mine.

Well, just wait until someone stabs you in the back when you're not expecting it, figuratively speaking.

If you think life has been fair and wonderful to you, then the others would be envious or jealous of you. Don't underestimate human nature, pal.

Oleneo:

Not misinformed at all as an outsider I have the benefit of seeing both sides, which will always give me a better vantage point. You however have a vested insterest in this, and thus your veiws are skewed.

There is no them, the only enemy is the one that you have inside, that fear that makes you not want to see that your country is turning. It is not like Nazi germany was, but it is not like America was either. It is something else, and the direction it is taking is more towards the German side of the spectrum than it is to Old Glory's. Once again, speaking as an outsider above such trival crap.

You are the invading enemy - BY DEFINITION. They, as soverign people, do not want an invading army there. What is so hard to see about that? Leave. Get out. If you don't this will continue and you can't blame people for doing what each and everyone of us(at least those of us not working for the other side - because it has more power and might makes right - right?) would be doing.

Hypocritical. Evil, and just plain dumb.

No one can stab me in the back my man, because by acting nice to all, I have a million eyes watching it for me. Those that create violence and unrest though........they have it defensless.

It isn't that I underestimate human nature, I have just decided to adopt a methodolgy that makes it work for me. Understanding that all people are animals, it follows that by watching the animals you can see how they react to certain stimulus, but noting that, you can see how you can "play" the animal we all call man. Not that it is fool prove, there are always animals and people that don't follow the trends and such, but overall it has served all nations leaders well for centuries.

Passer-by...your logic is all messed up. Your not thinking this thru.

When the throat-sliters hit America on 9/11....we were not "invading" anyone. We were minding our own business when Radical Islam kicked in our front door.

Well now we're kicking in their doors and locking some of them up....the ACLU and AI have been undermining our war effort since day one. Like giving suspected Muslim terrorists free "legal" advice on how to hold up under FBI questioning......this is sedition.

this is treason.

No country can survive when people like this are allowed to undermine law enforcement....they need to be locked up and investigated. I want to see FBI agents and Federal marshalls kicking down the doors of Amnesty International and the ACLU and slamming them against the wall.

Who attacked America again Maximus? Who exactly?

Don't be so frightened Maximus, I am sure you can take care of yourself fine. Have some confidense.

Im not scared of anybody.

The point is radical Islam attacked us and now we're fighting back.

I DON'T agree with how Bush has been fighting in Iraq, he is holding back our heavy fire-power (B-1 , B-2 , B-52) and making our troops fight on the same level as the throat-cutters.....so don't think of me as a Bush cheerleader. The Bush administration has folded like a Walmart lawn chair under the liberal assault and he is not much of a leader I thought him to be.

The fact is we have some of the throat-cutters locked up in GB and we have people crying about their "rights". The terrorist have the right to DIE and thats about it...anyone who cries about the terrorists rights should be tossed in next to them at Guantanimo Bay....

Radical Islam is a concept, how does an idea attack you again?
People attacked you, those people never were with Iraq.
Iraq was innocent, at least at this charge.

You can claim you aren't afraid, but your actions and words show very clearly a frightened man.

You continual use of slanderous terms - they are after all merely accused throat slitters - not withstanding your cowardice shows through. It is an illegal war waged against a country that did nothing to you.

Radical Islam attacked us on 9/1, and like maximums said if America falls it wont be because of any outside force we will crumble from within, because of people like the ACLU and our extreme left wing liberals. We keep shooting our selvs in the foot over and over, we keep second guessing ourselves and in the end if it continues this will be the downfall of America.

Maximus, you were done before you started. You were just ignorant of that as well.

Then can either of you guys explain how a concept, and idea can attack you? Fools I say.

Can Neo-con attack someone? Ofcourse not, because it is a concept to discribe something tangable. Militant Islam is the same thing and you can't get tangible because then you'd be forced to admit those that attacked you are not in Iraq, never were in Iraq had no connection to Iraq and that would show how horribly wrong you guys are for suporting a demonstrably illegal war.

Idea's can't hurt people, but they are very effective in creating fear in those that have a slightly less than stable backbone.

I wonder..... if george washington would have been proud of amercans proclaiming death or calling thier government currupt instead of doing what the nation he started stood for....this will probably be lost and seen as a left attack on right or some ignorant drivel by amercas long lost cousin...but its a question that needs to be asked.

The concept of LAW enforcement and due process is coming to an end in large parts of the US.

It is already dead in Gitmo and Washington.
