Well, since I do not believe in magical cords, astral projection and speaking in the voices of archons I might not be the best Mason to ask.

again another ignorant post replying to information that has not been examined. if you don't believe in these things, why does it not concern you that young ladies are being lead to believe they are in a Biblical order while being paraded around wearing these cords? ADDRESS THIS ISSUE, that is if you have the courage to try giving an intellegent response. you folks might call us trolls, but you my friends are quite the dodgers.

I"ve always researched the evidence given by anti-Masons and usually its bogus. And why is it a bad thing for us to defend an organization we belong to, but okay for people to defame?

Maybe I missed it, but what deception is there? I do not know enough about the Jobies, but I'll ask my girlfriend as she was in it and knows a lot about it. I will say I have seen the initiation ritual and if you were a Jobie you would know well why its called Job's Daughters.

IMO, you take things way too literally. I can't tell if its zealotry or what, but I'm sorry you left the Jobies and didn't have a good experience.

are you afraid to reply to an honest examination to this information? one of these people on this thread eventually will actually look at this information. or maybe some of you have and would rather pretend that you didn't. looks like non of you freemasons is up to the challenge of addressing this properly.

Are you saying the Testament of Job is evil or bad? What is your end state?

Wait, I do not believe in magic cords and I am the one who is ignorant?

It does not concern me because I do not see what the heck it is you are getting yourself wound up about, I mean other then magic cords and astral projection.

ADDRESS THIS ISSUE

You address the issue. You brought it up, you detail why it is that you are so fixated on this aspect that is caused you to post the same thing on numeorus other threads.

wow, some of the most blatant displays of DODGING that i have ever seen. you are verry good at taking advantage of the fact that most people are not going to examine this information. have you even read the above material before making a classic non-response? seems if you did you forgot to take off the hoodwink first.

the details as to why i am concerned with this issue are already posted in the information i provided. did you read any of it? once again you can provide no rebutle. because there is none. you can not explain why this order seems way more condusive to the testament of job. seems to me you would rather distract from the information provided. sad that there is no one on your side of the fence that is capable of tackling this head on. DODGER.

Yes. You seem to be extremely fixated on magic cords and their relation to astral projection. That is about all I can seem to get from what you posted. Oh, and that anyone who is not a Christian is somehow worthy of your contempt and mockery.

...once again you can provide no rebutle.

Do you want to know why I have no rebutal? What do you possibly say to someone who is somehow convinced that they are/were part of the supernatural and were given magic cords to wear?

you can not explain why this order seems way more condusive to the testament of job.

And you can not seem to explain the relevance of it all to anyone here.

seems to me you would rather distract from the information provided.

Blathering on about magic cords, astral projection and speaking in voices of archons is frankly distracting enough. Make your point, and try to do it with proper grammar and syntax while you are at it.

it is not importaint if the testament of job is evil. you are missing the point entirely. the point is that it is contradicting to the teachings of the Bible, and the members are lead to believe that the order is based on Biblical principals. the "magic" involved in the testament of job is forbidden by God in the Bible. the official history is that the order is based off of the book of job in the Bible. i find it odd that the order has more in common with the testament of job which contradicts the Biblical teachings. The very symbolism that ties iojd (jdi) to the testament of job relates to the ways in which God's comandments were violated Biblicaly speaking. i find it damaging to practice rituals based on Biblical restricted practices, sold under the veil of a Biblical basis.

i have come to feel personaly that the testament of job is evil. i hope that is what you were looking for me to say. but the reason i have come to this conclusion is that if the testament of job were good, why not base the order openly from this text?

Just for the record, the Church considers the Testament of Job to be "apocryphal but edifying", which is to say, not divinely inspired, but still containing good things for Christians to read.

The book is not Gnostic, as you seem to have suggested. As a Gnostic myself, I find the book rather useless, but to each his own.

Anyhow, I still don't see any direct relationship between the Jobies amd the book, and it's actually sort of unlikely that the lady who wrote the Jobie ritual even knew the Testament of Job existed.

Well to be honest with you (not that i'd really know, just a guess), =is because people think they know what they are talking about when they do not exactly know. Or perhaps also some spread lies about it to cover up the real truth from coming out.

All,

I just wanted to announce my return to the board without wasting a thread that would just be overlooked or deleted. I didn't intend to bump this thread, really, but I do need some private counsel from a Brother who remembers me and this seems a good one to get an idea on where I stand on the Masonic question for those who don't. Obviously, this thread was started years ago, but some things don't change.

I hope to get back to participating on the boards, time permitting... it's clearly been too long.

Regards,
Axe
