buy the new buttoms with ATS points!

To all the whiners...

Hey guys! look, we got two new buttoms! one with the member thing at the buttom of everyone's post and a magfrying glass too. wonder what they do hehe

Edit: we got more new buttoms!! one with the E-mail and a U2U thing... what does U2U stands for anyway?


2 Edit: I just found more new buttoms! if you have Aim or msn or any instant messenger there will be a buttom fro each one! hehe

just found out something new! if you click on people's instant messenger it will said this

IMHO,using Crystal or iCandy Windows Icons isnt the best looking for the board.
To me it clashes with the rest of the theme.
There are quite a few graphics artists here,perhaps have a competition like the wallpaper one to make buttons ? or just browsing DeviantArt for ones that match better ?

I kinda like the new thread buttons except one thing, its kinda hard to tell what they DO. Like what each button is, the profile buttons below the posts and the quote button in the corner. new members might not be able to tell what they do.

Maybe add ALT (IE) and TITLE (Firefox doesnt display ALT tags without an extension) tags to them so they can mouseover and see what they do?

I agree with this, new members might not be clear on how to quote.

You'll notice the names are currently being added, much in the same way they were with the other buttons. He's got his job for a reason - he's good at it.

Actually,FireFox does do this...sorta.
It depends on the theme/skin you use.
I use one right now ( Longhorn Inspiriat2 ) that does this.So if the ALT tag is used,I can see it. beverlyhills.web.infoseek.co.jp...
So though you can use an extension to do this,also using a theme/skin that supports it works also without the extension.

I think it's a great idea.
Because of the massive amount of ATS points some people have I also propose the following things:

1. If you have 10000 points you can warn another ATSer.

2. If you have 20000 points you can delete someones post.

3. If you have 30000 points you can bann an ATSer.

4. If you have 40000 points you can bann a moderator.

5. If you have 50000 points or more you become autobanned for being a computernerd.

I think this would greatly stimulate people to get and spend ATS points.

i think thats too extream... be able to ban... lets leave the job to admins hehe

Buying bottoms is just a idea i came up with to make everyone happy

Ummm, guys....I hate to be another whiner, but....I got nooo buttons.

Not even one single, itty, bitty .....nada....makes it realllllly hard to navigate, but may sharpen my hide 'n seek skills.

Is there some thing incompatible at my end, or is this a sign of another change?

What version/type web browser are you using. The buttons are in the "PNG" format and some older browsers might have issues (about 1% of our audience according to our logs).

hey look! the buttoms become white in the background... it doesn't look so good, the good old gray or black is match the site background much better!

Because I have an empty square where the reply would normally be, and clicking there opened the page where I could type the reply....remember I said I had hide and seek skills. ( I also managed to quote you be clicking the empty space where the quote button was, but no luck so far when trying that with empty 'button spaces'.) Will check on the browser (MSN - I think )

AHA!!!! I found the right 'empty" spots for clicking the invisible buttons, now if I can just remember where that darned 'my ATS' button was......
