The frustration expressed in this thread highlights a deeper problem: the failure of human-led systems to deliver true justice. Corruption,
partisanship, and self-interest are not just issues of individual politicians or parties; they are symptoms of a broader spiritual crisis. Jeremiah
17:9 reminds us, "The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked; who can know it?" This truth applies to everyone, regardless of
political affiliation.
The reason justice seems unattainable in our current system is that human governance is inherently flawed. Both parties are guilty of placing power
and personal gain above righteousness. True justice, however, can only be achieved when governance aligns with God’s law and His perfect will. That
is why Theocracy—a system where God’s principles guide society—is the answer.
Every human leader, regardless of party, is subject to sin and corruption. The Bible warns us in Psalm 146:3, "Do not put your trust in princes, in
human beings, who cannot save." No political system can succeed unless it is rooted in obedience to God’s commandments.
Unlike human laws, which are often subjective and self-serving, God’s laws are perfect, just, and unchanging. Isaiah 33:22 declares, "For the Lord
is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is He who will save us." Under a theocracy, justice is impartial because it is
grounded in divine truth, not human agendas.
In a theocratic system, no one is above the law, because all are subject to God’s authority. Leaders would govern in fear of the Lord, knowing they
will answer to Him. Proverbs 16:12 states, "It is an abomination for kings to commit wickedness, for a throne is established by righteousness."
The reign of God produces peace and flourishing for all. Isaiah 9:7 says of God’s rule, "Of the greatness of His government and peace there will be
no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over His kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness."
As believers, our role is not just to lament the brokenness of the current system but to work toward a society where God’s principles are at the
center. This means living out and promoting biblical values, holding leaders accountable to God’s standard, and praying for His kingdom to come on
earth as it is in heaven (Matthew 6:10).
The current political system—regardless of which party is in power—cannot heal the moral decay at the root of our society’s problems. Only when
we submit to God’s rule and establish governance on His Word will we see true justice, unity, and peace.
Until then, we must continue to proclaim the gospel, work for righteousness, and pray for the day when "the kingdoms of this world have become the
kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ" (Revelation 11:15). Only then will the corruption, division, and injustice that plague human systems be fully
eradicated.
