I keep seeing comments here on ATS and other places that when Trump gets in office, heads are gonna roll.

Hillary Clinton and Soros will be exposed for their crimes and be in prison.

Pelosi will be indicted for insider trading and the Jan 6th Committee will be charged with all sorts of crimes.

Schumer and Nadler will pay for stabbing Trump in the back.

Merchan, Bragg, Letitia James and Fanni Willis will be disbarred.

It ain't gonna happen.

The Democrats are too heavily entrenched in government agencies and have WAY too much dirt on everyone else to go down alone. Sure, there may be some "investigations" but it'll be all for show and nothing will ever come of it.

Take the wins and ignore the losses, because none of them will ever see a day in court.

Both parties are guilty of the same crimes.

Sadly, a lot of it isn’t illegal.

There will never be a true appetite from the populace for this to happen either, because if it was truly justice, and sought all of those implicated, there would be a mass purge in politics.

Some here might say “if they’re guilty, I don’t care what party they’re in”, but that’s a minority.

If you listen to the verbiage of most people who talk about the subject, they only talk about one side.

It didn’t happen the first go-round, it most likely won’t happen the second.

The tentacles of this beast are way too big and extremely multiplex. It would take some sort of massive catastrophe and the complete annihilation of our current system just to start over.

Apparently you haven't been reading statements made by incoming Trump officials. They may be intimidated by evil people in the deep state into not doing anything, but their intentions have been made clear.

I think most of the people who are looking forward to 'heads rolling' are pretty young or incredibly naive.

Commons sense says there's no way anyone can enact all of the changes Trump has promised without causing a massive domino effect that would totally destroy the country. The best he can do is clean up a feww gov. agencies of the weaponized people in place until the next time the Marxists take total control again.

' I recently read somewhere-sorry, can;'t remember where- ' When the very fabric and foundation of society becomes so poisoned that it cannot solve its own problems it must be torn down completely.'

It's mnot a USA thing; it's world wide. Four years of Trump cannot fix this, and if he hits the ground running with as many changes as he can he's likely to create the greatest chaos this country has ever seen-especially considering his enemies are so filled with hate they'd rather see the country destroyed than a successful Trump term. They are legion.

BAMN never sleeps.

We've all heard the rhetoricbefore; talk is cheap. If Trump fulfills all the promises he's made this time like he did last time nothing will change.

One thing that watching congressional hearings has shown me is that there is no accountability in government, period. For instance I love the way Sen. Kennedy, Hawley, Blackburn, Gaetz, Mace and a few others go after important issues and incompetent people but they’re never held accountable.

Mayorkas and Garland are good examples. They are two of the worst incompetent lying officials in the current administration but nothings has or will ever happen to them for their derelict of duty, both have been treasonous and not enforced our current laws but not a damn things going to happen to them. This crap has gotten old and a hard watch, rinse and repeat……

You're too focused on "Trump". His people will issue the investigations, warrants, audits, legal summons, etc..

If you compare what top people in his administration said in 2016/2017, compared to 2024, you wouldn't be so cynical. (Or maybe you would, LOL. God made all kinds.)

These good MAGA firebrands were referring people to the Biden administration for Investigation. Senator Rand Paul referred Anthony Fauci to the DOJ for criminal investigation TWO times (2022 and 2024)...to Joe Biden's DOJ. Every American knows the Biden Administration would not investigate a Democrat, or Democrat-supporting individual or Group, unless it had to. (i.e. Senator Bob Menendez's criminality was so bad, Garland couldn't ignore it.)

I understand people are having a hard time mentally changing their mindset. But eventually, even the most jaded and cynical will understand there's a new way of doing things in effect.

That's how the Uniparty game works; pretend you're busy fighting for justice when you know damn well it won't go anywhere.

If he really wants to impress people he should quit wasting time and resources that everybody knows will go no where.
Let's see how many things he brings up now that there's some power behind him.

Got to agree with you with that. Democrats seem to have the goods on everyone, They set up people so they can sway them to do what they want.

They also have lots of pull in media and there are some big Democrat backing companies that can make bad things happen for our country. So I can only see some minor changes happening in our country. Plus they are going to push political propaganda.

On the sixth of January they have prepared for mass protesting in the capital. The Democrats in charge had pushed for this protection the most. Why, do they know that there will be big Liberal riots going on, riots they promoted by losing the election? You thought the mostly peaceful riot by the people backing Trump was bad, I need more popcorn to watch what will happen this sixth of January...of course as they are destroying everything but the capitol buildings...that will be a peaceful protest in their eyes.

I could be wrong though, but I guess we will have to wait and see what unfolds in the upcoming days.

I will not be disappointed when the DEI hires get replaced by hardworking competent people.
Also this….

“Any government entity, city, state that has a sanctuary designation that uses federal funds to support immigrant families, immigrant children, will lose the funding”

Just the tip of the iceberg of many great things to look forward to.
I believe the majority of Trumps picks will have varying degrees of success.
The democrats, rinos, and deep staters are fearful and some are already running scared fwiw.
They can give each other reacharounds with their medal ceremonies and lawfare sentencing kabuki theater for all I care.
Come January 20, the reality begins.

I would love to see that but I think it will be blocked with tons of lawsuits.

Any state that does not enforce the federal laws of this country should immediately lose federal funding. If the laws in our country need to be changed there are legal avenues to do that; there is never, ever be an acceptable reason for not enforcing our laws.

I think this is a far more important issue than any others we face and should be the number one problem addressed.

I would also like to see the list of public officials that have availed themselves to the taxpayer funded hush money slush fund. We have a right to know where our money is being spent, especially for such egregious acts as sexual assault.

Stormy Daniels was awarded a fortune for breaking her non-disclosure agreement; let's see a whole lot of others get away with doing the same. I'm betting there'd be a lot of politicians sporting egg on their two faces.

Accountability is not as important as putting policies and laws in place that prevent people getting corrupted like they have. Money should be taken out of politics for example.

No stock trading for people in government and lobbying should be heavily regulated or banned. Donations for political campagne should be limited, or state funded.

Well, I have a little different view of how it's going to go. I agree with you that little, if any, of the things you cite will happen on day #1, or even in the first few months, but I do think some of these things will come to fruition.

Trump is smart, like 'business smart' and he's a good negotiator (forget his persona for a moment; he wouldn't have gotten to where he did in the business world without those skills). He's not going to do things which will result in torpedoes coming back in his direction, at least not right away. So, here's what I think will happen. ...

I think one of the first things we will see in terms of exposure is things like the Epstein files opened up to the public. Then things like the hush-fund recipients. He'll do this because he has nothing to worry about there personally, and they are matters of public record (now). Later we may see the P-diddy lists (after discovery in his trial(s)). Following this, I believe things will go quiet for a while through year #2. He'll be laying back waiting to see where people chump out on him in Congress and the Senate. The whole time he'll be pushing out the message about "lawfare" in the judicial system. I think in his mind he believes the voters will push these judges out (and I think he's right).

Depending on how things like the immigration and economy are doing out in late year #2 and early in year #3 is where you'll start seeing some more aggressive action. And then in year #4 is where I believe we will see the gloves come off. He's got nothing to lose at that point, and any of his opponents left standing will be running for the hills.

That's my take.

edit - On a side note, I'm not sure I'd be overly upset if he did nothing in terms of payback. That's my own personal view. It would show a lot of dignity, and may even restore some of the lost dignity of the office of POTUS.

Below are examples of policy (feel free to add more) that would effect greater positive change in administrative functions instead of chasing foxes in holes for the next four years.

If there was a national referendum on this issue, the following would pass with over 90% support:

1.) Term limits for Congress
2.) Maximum age restrictions for Congress
3.) No dual citizenship allowed for any member of Congress
4.) No stock trading for any Congress members
5.) No lobbying gifts or funds for any Congress members.

Until all 5 of these common sense laws are put into place, we don't have a representative government. Instead we have a government that represents corporations, NGOs, Special interest groups and lobbies.

☝️ This is the change I voted for.

I keep telling everyone. It's all political theater. These threats that they are going to do something never result in anything. It's all done to keep people in their place and voting. It lets politicians go, "See! We are doing what you want." You've been suckered and that's all there is to it.

IDK. Heads roll in various ways.
Politically...
Obama is finished, Pelosi is finished, Biden is finished, Harris is finished, Hillary is finished, Liz Cheney is finished...CNN is finished, MSNBC is finished...and that's just in the US.

ALL of this is due to Trump.

The above is very true. There are still places they can be used for fund raising/etc but for the most part that Cabal is gone.

The US government tried to kill him. On National TV. This, to me, was the watershed moment for our country. A lot changed that day. It is not about MAGA folks, it is about the leadership in our country.

We just had 4 years of a POTUS who was not in charge. The things that happened are atrocious. When these things come out there will be no need for Trump to go after anyone. If the correct people are appointed they will do it for him.

This is a different administration. His first he was beholden to the GOP. He now controls the GOP whether you want to believe it or not or say it is fractured.

Each election more and more people voted for him. Not even the Golden Boy Barack can claim this.

Name one person who would have withstood what he just did for the last 8 years. You cannot.
