Apparently nine of the dead got better. The report is now 2 dead and 68 people injured, 15 of them seriously. Makes you wonder about the authenticity of reports, though.

If someone treats a topic like this so disrespectfully and then uses the sticking out tongue smiley because they want to win an argument about how many people have died or not, then they are just making themselves look ridiculous by denying what is really going on inside them.

It's also sad to see how people argue that it's okay that the people in Magdeburg were injured because they're supposedly right-wing radicals and therefore deserve it. That just shows how sick one have to be in the head to even try to bring something like that up. It's really pissing me off right now.

My thoughts are with everyone affected. For many people this will not be a nice Christmas and there are people here who think it is cool.

As linked by NorthOS in this post in this topic thread, the driver of the car reposted several tweets/posts/a cartoon on X about Mohammed being a paedophile, taking a 6-year-old (Ayesha) as his bride, and consummating the wedding when she was 9 years old. And also a post about how Mohammed had a homosexual relationship with Dihya Al-Kalbi. Neither of which are pro-Islamist.

The driver has also stated that he is an atheist and that Germany was not a good place for a Saudi to seek asylum.

A Saudi source told Reuters the kingdom had warned German authorities about the attacker, who the source said had posted extremist views on his personal X account.

I guess he must’ve mistaken the German Christmas Market for one that occurs during, looks like, and is attended by people celebrating Ramadan.

At the same time, Syrian jihadists were granted asylum in Germany.

Terrorism expert Peter R. Neumann, a professor at King’s College London, wrote on X: “After 25 years in this ‘business’, you think nothing could surprise you anymore. But a 50-year-old Saudi ex-Muslim who lives in East Germany, loves the AfD and wants to punish Germany for its tolerance of Islamists – that was really not on my radar.”

So his logical conclusion was:

I had a quick look at your link to his X account.... if that is indeed the perpetrators account. The X account seems to be against Islam and one post he actually says Germany is Islamifying the country. If this is his account, looks like he's a Christian, not Muslim. If that is the case, then .........
