Perfectly said. When I was a freshman in college, I wrote a paper entitled, "Propaganda and News Suppression." Way back then, the "news" was
struggling to get out, and various governmental agencies were suspected of curtailing that effort. The year was 1980. I had gratuated from high
school in '76 and fled coal country for Los Angeles debauchery. I fooled around there and went back to the intermountain west for school.
Propaganda, imo, has never left us. To some degree it is present in all our TV commercials, and the ongoing annoyance of internet ads. I'm okay
with the ads. It pays for my 'net experience.
Propaganda, imo, is best served with a slice of truth. Doesn't have to carry the whole meal, nope. I have seen quite a lot of it served up since
2016, or perhaps before that. Propaganda relies upon the repeated word, among workers, among grocers, among bank employees, among everyone. If
something is repeated enough, it becomes the meme of the truth, and people will repeat it, like the parrots of the future.
"News" is really ongoing editorial blather. It is true on all channels, however there is a political direction which excells in editorial blather.
It is my belief, after careful study, that much of the left of the United States is willing to say or testify to, or accuse of, or incite toward,
almost anything that reaches their goal. Here's a clue: The END should NEVER MOTHER#IN' justify the means!!!!! You get the majority of the
people involved and they will agree upon what they want. THIS is democracy.
