It seems from reading the article linked in the tweet that Essex PD has a very low rate of solving ACTUAL crimes.

Maybe they need these ridiculous internet posting "crimes" that are obviously very easy to "solve" in order to boost their stats.

You don't. That is what court is for. If you have a legal issue, let the police do what they want. If they were wrong 2 things can happen. Don't argue and have a lawyer. I do.

No conviction
Sue.

If you act like a fool you will not come out on top. Are there corrupt police? Yes. All lines of work have bad people but it is not all of them.

The issue is that it has moved to mind crimes or internet posts and certain government officials will use enforcement for harassment. That is what is happening here.

You can only sue if a prosecution was "Wrongful" over here.

That was my point. Do not argue cops. You will NEVER win. EVER. If you are found innocent on what they did that was incorrect sue.

Like I said, you can only sue if a prosecution was "Wrongful". Quite a high bar, there.

Wouldn't you go to court to prove it unwrongful?

"Unwrongful"?!

I have direct experience of wrongful prosecution claims.

But what do I know?

Maybe point this out next time you see a Brit bragging about how they don't need a constitution.

Sadly we can't have one as long as we have a monarchy.
All the useful idiots bleat on about our unwritten constitution, but these days you can see it's not worth the paper it isnt written on.

Just a bit of paper saying the king can't take all the stuff he wants off the barons.

As recent times have shown, magna carta offers sod all protection to the average plebe when the government goes rogue.

Magna Carta is only one part of the framework of The Constitution. The major foundation is The English Bill Of Rights 1688

You didn't read very far.

Second sentence:

Unlike in most countries, no official attempt has been made to codify such arrangements into a single document, thus it is known as an uncodified constitution. This enables the constitution to be easily changed as no provisions are formally entrenched.

An uncodified constitution really isn't one. In its current form, your "rights" can be usurped at the snap of a finger.

hasn't kept anyone out of prison who shouldn't be there, hasn't brought justice to those killed by the state either. It's worthless.
