The FEMA supervisor who was fired after The Daily Wire revealed she directed disaster relief workers in Florida to “avoid homes” with signs advertising Donald Trump said on Tuesday that this was not an “isolated” incident, and is likely happening in disaster areas across the country.

Marn’i Washington said that FEMA has a widespread policy of avoiding “politically hostile” homes during an interview with Roland Martin. She said that FEMA’s suggestion that she made an independent decision to avoid certain homes is a mischaracterization, stating that it is agency policy.

“FEMA always preaches avoidance first and then de-escalation, so this is not isolated,” Washington said. “This is a colossal event of avoidance not just in the state of Florida, but you will find avoidance in the Carolinas.”

“Senior leadership will lie to you and tell you that they do not know,” Washington said.

They’ve been saying they were going to do things like this.I think the term They call it is “social equity” or some nonsense. They just didn’t define what that meant. It means minorities get priority care which means majority will get no care if FEMA feels lazy that day.

Tens of thousands of them are "radical liberal" Democrats.

Forget the "But they're not supposed to......." fantasies.

Morals and Ethics at the top of that party are in sharp decline.

When the current Democrat President says those who support the next President (a Republican) are "garbage" and are "the dregs of society". When the Vice President tells FEMA to distribute relief funds based on "equity" (a codeword that excludes Trump supporters), you have the stage set for mass terminations and arrests of Dem Leaders next year.

"NO FEAR" officials are being put in place to execute that cleanup, commencing on 1/20/2025.

I read about her saying this last night and thought "no surprise."

The whole thing needs an overhaul.

So, why didn't they also avoid helping households with Democrat signs in the yards? Wouldn't they also be considered politically hostile.

She refrains from saying that in the quote. Again, the Democrat version of Trump supporters being hostile while Harris or Biden being considered not hostile.

In my lifetime I have never heard of a single FEMA success story. Every time they show up things go to hell in a handbasket. Better to let the States handle it; they'll do a much better job.

Then the only doorsteps they'll be avoiding are places which aren't hiring.

Because they weren't told to bypass Democrat signs. They were told to bypass Trump signs. Why would a Democrat operation go against Democrat supporters? 🤣🤣 This was part of another government department weaponozation.

We all remember the IRS proven discrimination against Tea Party and Conservative orgs don't we.

I heard this from a friend who is a Volunteer Firefighter in a different county here in Kentucky, so....

In 2021 we had an EF4 move through and devastated some towns. FEMA showed up with 4, yes 4 people to "assess the damage". By the time they got there locals had already stared cleanup and rescue, the local high school was used for a shelter, the locals banded together and supplied food and water to victims who had lost their homes.

The local Sheriff and Ky State Police told FEMA to "stand over there and stay the fu** out of the way".

Oh I’m sure he’ll be by shortly listing every class he’s taken again instead of just saying he’s wrong.

It is my belief that FEMA should dole out $$$ to the states, the states to the locals. FEMA should have things like generators and housing to deliver for FREE to areas affected...but under the direction of local and state teams. They should assist, not run the operations.

A big government is not the answer to anything. The feds should defer to the state, who is listening and supporting the locals.
