No doubt after the US election ATS will still be politics heavy, and no doubt some posters will claim that they knew what the result would be

So who do you think will win (not who do you want)

I’m saying trump based on his Mac Donald’s stunt, I think it appealed to vast a number of normal people to see him in such a relatable arena

So anyone willing to play

I don't think I'm close enough to the election to predict a winner as it does look like its going to be quite close.

But what I do think is that regardless of the winner the fall out and aftermath is going to be particularly vitriolic and acrimonious. I can't see either side being gracious in defeat and/or accepting the result with dignity. It may even get very ugly and quite possibly violent.

And as we both know, whoever the victor is the interests and well being of ordinary, everyday American citizens will not be their primary concern.

I think it's going to be Trump by a large margin. I think the "polls" are a form of election rigging, and rather than measuring public opinion, they are meant to drive it. But I think Trump will win, because he has shown what he can do, and we have seen what Harris can do, so both are known entities, where most other elections offer the unknown variable. All the bad things folks remember about Trump had to do with the pandemic. And I think folks realize that wasn't something he was in control of.

If Harris wins, we will see 4 more years of the past 4 years. Choose wisely if you haven't yet.

I'll make a prediction, if Trump wins, there will likely be riots and violence. If Harris wins, folks will be angry, and a bit sad, but since we have jobs and junk, we will just go back to work. We will mercilessly mock idiots for screwing the nation that badly, but we do that now, so....

It's more than that, the Democrats have run the country for 12 of the last 16 years, and they want America to believe all the problems are because of OMB. The DNC has had plenty of time to address the issues, but they chose not to and instead weaponized political warfare for the last 8 years.

America hopefully has seen through the BS and the smoke and mirrors

It's McDonald's...BTW

As for my predictions based on polling and other indicators, Trump is likely very close to +6 in Georgia, last I checked it had 30-plus counties with huge new registrations and voting, and virtually every one of them was a red county in 2020.

But let's talk about the elephant in the room and the jackasses that have already sent in fraudulent registrations in Pennsylvania. That's all it takes to question its results NO MATTER who wins.

FWIW if it's not an obvious win for either side I expect there to be litigation and days and weeks possibly for an official winner to be declared

Just looking at the actual facts here.

Harris campaign stops shows she is just battling to get to 270 electorals.
Her and tampon Tim are hitting Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin hard, in addition to the other swing states.

Trump, on the other hard, is campaigning like he’s has at least 270 electorals and is trying to run it up over 300.
He and Vance added New Mexico, Virginia and New Hampshire to their stops, in addition to swing states.

All the election interference by the democrats the past week is telling as well.
Illegally closing voting centers early in Pennsylvania where Republican turnout was high.
Illegally extending hours and days that voting centers are open in blue districts in Georgia.
Suing to keep illegal voters on voting rolls in Virginia.
Extending the dates of acceptance to receive mail in ballots.
All the old hoaxes still being spewed, this time by Obama and team diddy. (Very fine people etc)
It’s all so very desperate like their internal polling shows she’s toast. No joy, and it shows.
A vote for her is a vote for what we’ve gotten for the past 4 years. Americans will say “No thanks”.

Harris numbers continue to drop so I’d expect by Election Day we’re looking at a Trump win by 3-5% at minimum.

I hope for all your sakes you are right.

But already we are seeing claims that the election has been rigged by one side. And a few - I'll make an educated guess here and say its only a very small minority - screaming for retribution and even executions if they win.

I've tried my best to keep up to date with things the best I can from this side of the pond and its my firm belief that neither candidate is fit to hold such an esteemed and influential office. You guys deserve so much better. (I know that's just a personal opinion - and a pretty much irrelevant one - and that's not what this thread is about.)

Prediction: If we know the DECLARED WINNER before midnight Eastern Time tomorrow evening, there will be a smooth transition, free from significant violence.

Fingers Crossed 🤞🏽

How? He has only lost supports since the last election and he lost that one by 10mil votes... The math doesn't appear to be in his favor. If there are riots it'll be the the side that attempted to coup the US government. MAGA hates America and the Constitution, seeing as how they want to violate all of it...

I think Harris will win. Here's why.

Trump won in 2016 with the full support of the Republican machine. He got votes from independents, and even a lot of Democrats, ready for new blood and the promise of change.

He lost in 2020 because Americans perceived his administration as chaotic and weren't buying his rhetoric as much this time around.

That was before Jan 6th. After Jan 6th he lost the bulk of old school conservative Republicans like Mike Pence, John Bolton, Gen Miley, Gen Kelly, et al. So, this time around, Trump has even less support than he had in 2020, when he lost.

If you thought that the 2020 election was rigged, then it's going to be even riggier this time. Here's why. In 2020 Trump was in office, but he still couldn't 'stop the steal", even with all his presidential power from the Executive office.

This time, Harris has the Executive office tools, not to mention the new powers delegated the Executive office by the Supreme Court! So, this time they have a lot more tools in their executive office belt to make sure Democrats win the White House.

If Democrats really believe any of what they're saying about Trump, that he's a real threat to national security, the economy, even democracy itself, then there is no way they can't wield their power to "keep America safe" from fill in the blanks...

So, I predict Kamala Harris will win.

0n the other hand, we can never underestimate the Democrat's superb talent of snatching failure from the jaws of victory.

the right person at the right time is where we are now. Trump isn't the best by a long shot, but he's the best choice for right now. We need to erase a large portion of clown world, and an abrasive, DGAF attitude is the key to making that happen. If this was Trump's first go at it, he'd be timid and worried about optics for his second term. That's not an issue at this point. And if he is able to wright the ship, then we can all enjoy some peace and prosperity for a little while. I'm tired of war, even if it's "over there". Too much death, and way too much stupid. YMMV

Fascinating.
Please link for us the new powers delegated to the executive office.

Are you saying they’ll cheat to win?
That’s what it sounds like.

Harris.

She pulls a win in Wisconsin, Michigan, and squeaks by in Pennsylvania with the Latino vote pulling her ahead.

Harris also wins the popular vote by close to 10 million.

Nobody in the country should have voted. We are voting for the lesser of two evils it seems. Trump had good intentions when he became president, and the Democrats thrashed at him because he was not a normal politician. I liked that trump would say what he thought, not what he thought people wanted to hear when he ran the first time and through his presidency. The Democrats focus on deception.

Why do I say the lesser of two evils? Because if Trump does win, he will have hate in his heart towards the Democrats who will try to sabotage everything he does again....I hope he can cut back his Ire and try to help America get out of this mess that plagues our society but am skeptical. As for Kamala.....she is not presidential material....she was only put into that position because the Democrats think she has a good chance of winning because she is a woman of color. I suppose she might be all right if she can defy the Democrats trying to run things...she has to tell the chaotic Democrats trying to seize power to stop all the BS and maybe she will surprise us and do that and turn out all right....but I feel if she crosses them they will oust her too.

I am tired of all the BS in politics, people should make laws to stop this bad behavior in DC

Lol

The force is strong in this one.

Lead with an easily disproven lie, throw in nonsense, add a dash of delusional hyperbole that only appeals to the equally delusional.

They're not sending their best.

Sad.

What's telling to me is that they just made it legal to shoot you if you complain and waiting until weeks before election day to implement something like that is also ominous.

You don't do that unless you've already bagged it because there would be no reason to shoot citizens that are happy with the results. They're certainly NOT going to shoot their own if Trump wins.

So....

(ETA: Please keep in mind that the Democrats and all their cronies and criminals imbedded in every agency and department are still in charge and have been for years now. They've practically eliminated anyone who won't play ball. A LOT of people are about to lose their jobs and their SOPs are going to be brought to light.)

A coup, by definition, is a sudden, unlawful seizing of power, which is exactly what happened on August 2nd, when the democrats "formally chose" Kamala as their nominee, and she "formally accepted", although she was in NO WAY a legitimate candidate for president. The democrats justified the bogus nomination by saying they would announce Kamala's candidacy at their convention. And that somehow made it all legal, ethical, and not at all rigged.

The democrats claimed that President Joe Biden "stepped aside and quickly endorsed her." Obama and Pelosi orchestrated the coup. Strangely, actor George Clooney played a big part. You can't make this stuff up.
