You cant make this stuff up people. They already determined the election for us. No need to go vote I guess. I have heard it was a test and also an "accident". Either way it looks pretty fishy and if the results in PA end up exactly what it shows there will be questions.

Looks like a local news station testing out their graphics, and accidentally let it air.

Here’s the thing about real conspiracies, it’s got to have a small enough circle you know nothing will leak.

If the media knew something was being rigged, we’re talking about thousands, or tens of thousands assuming even local stations are in on it. While those institutions themselves lean left, not everyone inside of the organizations do. Someone would surely come forth with evidence.

This reminds me of when they accidentally show an obituary type write up on a public figure who’s still alive. They have those profiles ready to go for high profile figures so they’re ready to pounce on the story when it does happen.

Remember a few weeks ago ?

MSNBC Producer caught on tape admitting to pushing Harris campaign, 'made its viewers dumber'

The producer painted a picture of a network that does not merely report on political events but rather acts as a “mouthpiece for the Democratic Party,” noting that during interviews, hosts and politicians often seem to “finish each other's sentences.”

This blatant admission raises questions about the objectivity of the network, which many viewers rely on for unbiased news coverage.

Even if it isn't a cheating matter of having the "results" beforehand, this is still election interference/influencing.
Mind games. Like seeing the results of early voting before election day. It has the potential to sway voters. lead to complacency, surrender, etc.

They know what they're doing.

Yeah I posted this on one of the other election threads. I live in the area where this happened, it was my local ABC affiliate. It's not all that farfetched that they were just testing their crawler. How they accidentally broadcast it I have no idea.

I don't think it means anything, but it's a stupid mistake to make in a state that always has election "irregularities" and has the spotlight on it every 4 years. This certainly doesn't help quash voters' concerns.

You mean remember the past few decades?

This is nothing new. There are plenty of bias media organizations, and they exist all across the spectrum of political ideology.

I don’t watch CNN, MSNBC, Fox or the rest. I don’t even have cable.

Do you think my original assessment was wrong though that it was likely a local station testing their graphics heading up to the election? Or do you think they know the results and accidentally let it slip?

I think it's very odd that when they " accidently " do this, it's always in favor of the Democrats, especially in swing states.

Do you think the actual post election numbers will match the graphics?

If that’s the case, what’s the point of us voting on Tuesday? It’s already decided, and every local news station has the results.

Even if they were pre-baked numbers, you'd think they'd be smart enough to change them now that they were accidentally broadcast.

I think it's just a dumb blunder though. For once we are in agreement.

For the record, for some of the downballot races, they had the Republican winning. And some of them they had the person with fewer votes marked the winner, so they have some bugs to work out.

I’d imagine they populate all the numbers with some kind of polling.

Just like any code, you’d have to make sure it’s all working right. I’d imagine that the numbers for a county would feed into the state, state into federal electoral college numbers.

If would take too much time and effort to do all that manually on election night, so my guess is it solid just be easier to feed in at a county level while it’s being received while the broader totals are calculated by the software.

Didn't Fox in Phoenix do the same, about a week before the 2020 election? The final numbers were close, with Joe Biden winning after several days of votes being "found". There was an ATS thread then, like this one.

Notice the polling always shows the candidates are always running close to make it easier to fudge the numbers on election night.

My thought is, if they were just testing the crawl then why would they show 100% reporting and have numbers. If you just wanted to populate fields you could easily just put in 50/50 and half reporting or something. This is just weird honestly.
