It says the info was sent quite a while ago...while Biden was still candidate. So why now do we hear about it...you think his campaign told the FBI or did it take the FBI finding the hack and following the trail? I am betting if we are only just hearing about this that no one told the FBI from the Biden/Harris campaign.

The "proud Islamophobe," those are her words not mine, Laura Loomer really wants her sugar daddy to go to war with Iran ever since she got banned by Uber and Lyft for being such a racist pos.

Trumps cyber security is equally as weak as his personal security.

The image of a strong leader is shattered when you got foreign countries and rogue madmen taking pot shots at you this often.

Why is Trump's security so poor?
Is his team inept?
Is his team corrupted?
Do they even care about Trump enough to do their job effectively?

Why would we elect this group the task of protecting the country when they can barely protect themselves?

then i remeber there is that infamous account from inside the pentagon, describing how they'll going to take down several countries over the next couple of years... If I remeber correctly they only have iran left...

almost as if Iran of today, is Russia Russia Russia of last week.

It's my understanding that hackers will sometimes make it look like another country is behind the hack, so I'm thinking that it's possible that this hack could have came from anywhere.

Good point, probably the FBI.

Yep Iran will do everything to help keep Trump out of office as they think if Trump wins their gravy train (billions of dollars) from the USA stops.

Kamala's campaign willingly accepted this illegally obtained information. Shared it with ABC News too!

Hell cometh their way.

Also, I wonder if this has come out because investigators started looking for moles and leaks within our government, especially after Routh had showed up for an unannounced event.

This has more to do with trying to coverup that mess in the news than anything else. I remember when GW Bush would have a major miss-step in Iraq or Afghanistan, and a Blond little girl would be reported missing and/or dead to cover up the war crisis. It happened so often it became a sad joke.

Well it's not like Iran isn't funding war groups in The Middle East and actually supplying arms and troops either is it. Iran is a war machine country and they ARE active. 😃⚔️

I thought the hacker shared it with news organizations.

Then none of the outlets ran the material either.

Yeah Trump posted about it in all caps, like a crazy person… lol.

Anyway, don’t see any accusation that the information was used or that there was any collusion with Iran, just that the information was sent.

A single sentence can trigger a wave of outrage. Who cares about background checks anymore. A few days later, the issue is forgotten and replaced by another sensational story, like a foreigner allegedly barbecuing a cat. By the way: "Anna Kilgore reported her cat missing and claimed that her Haitian neighbors had abducted 'Miss Sassy.' However, journalists followed up with Kilgore. With a Trump flag on the porch and a Trump cap on her head, she told Wall Street Journal reporters that Miss Sassy had long since reappeared."

So, as someone who works in cybersecurity and very closely with digital forensics and incident response teams, I know that they typically do not release attribution unless they are certain of it. Now, I know of only two countries that could potentially falsify the originating country and not be discovered: Israel and the US. Everyone else, such as China or Russia, isn't as good at hiding their tracks as the other two. If you follow things logically from a government handout standpoint, it becomes even less likely that there is false attribution in this case. That's just my 2 cents on the matter, however.

Edit:

All campaign groups' cybersecurity tends to suck. I can't say which ones they are due to NDA, but I have been called in to consult on several of them. They're slightly less secure than a hospital system.

Such a great point/observation. We are at the mercy of the propaganda, that's why the covid scam worked so well. One of the best things Trump has done was to expose the msm, exposed them to the point where the term "fake news" is commonplace now.

Our US news media is a bigger danger to Americans than all the terrorists in the world combined.

That is why one of the biggest priorities for the Trump administration will be to force ABC NBC CBS and others to become honest and Pro-American.

Loading them up with investigations and audits from the FCC, the DOL, the DOJ, and the IRS, will force them to change.

I agree, I appreciate the stories you highlight for discussion. I don't shy from disagreeing here or there but you mostly have great discussions based off your OP. Can't wait to see what happens from now to election day.

Should the government force the pundits who are proven to have taken foreign money (knowingly or not) to run specific pieces?

The answer is no.

No one watches ABC, NBC, or CBS.

The free market is doing its magic.

But leave it to partisans, and they’d gladly use the government to further their agenda.

Remember when even the notion of a foreign government hacking a presidential nominee in order to help their rival triggered a 3 year special counsel investigation because the implications were to great to ignore?

ETA

Now we have the same people saying it only maters if the haked information was used?

I’m the only one who said if it matter that the hacked data was used.

Go look at my thread history at the time, pretty sure I was the one who made a thread using Glenn Greenwalds article showing Trump was tougher on Russia than Obama.

I didn’t lose it when Trump jokingly told Russia to hack the missing emails. I voted for him.

We all have access to every kind of speech. No need to crack down on any of it.

If you want, I could show how left and right media turned a blind eye to Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Israel, Ukraine, Russia, and many more that a measurable group of people view as questionable.
