Sure, banning X is censorship but nobody has so far mentioned what led to it. It all started with the former president, Bolsonaro, not accepting the election results, claiming they were rigged and encouraging his supporters to storm the government buildings. Which they did.

No wonder Musk has decided to become a defender of "democracy" there. He must have a deja vu, eh?

Ah yes, that "flawed" document (per the democrats) called the Constitution of the United States of America, and that damn Freedom of Speech thing.

In Brazil?

Yes, precisely in Brazil!

Why? Because they don't have one, well, not one as focused on civil liberties like the US anyway.

Study deeper if you dare, and you'll discover who was really behind both of those "attacks". Be prepared for the jolt of a lifetime, a jolt you can't even prepare for. ⚠️💀

You don't have absolute freedom of speech in the USA;
- You can't advertise falsely.
- Books and movies are censored.
- You can get jailed for inciting violence.
- Obscenity is censored.
- You can't infringe copyright.
- You get jailed for fraud.
- You get jailed for child pornography.
- There are even laws where they can prosecute you if they 'think' what you say is treasonous.
- You get prosecuted for slander and libel.

... and these are good things to need to censor, you want censorship in those cases.

All those protestors who wanted to assert their right of refusal of a mandated health initiative (a right that just isn't codified under the Constitution), are the same ones who want to close abortion clinics, ban books, enforce what they believe is Christian specific doctrine, and etc.

And most of what are considered to be civil liberties are either still being fought for in the US, or came a 100 years after the Constitution was penned.

What is the Constitution's legal supremacy anyway if there is so much US legislation that overrides it? Don't kid yourself, it is really quite limited in the scope of what it actually protected or protects.

And people keep suggesting that it protects things that aren't even mentioned in the slightest in the Bill of Rights. It's all propagandist, flag waving, BS. Most of the world has moved on and have better and more liberty friendly laws than the USA.

Go and have a look online to where the USA is compared to other countries in terms of freedom, by whatever index you want to find.

And Brazil has adopted the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. So they have more comprehensive codified rights than US Citizens do.
