In New York city, the last Republican candidate for Mayor, and leader of the Guardian Angeles, Curtis sliwa is on talk radio every day talking about the corruption city officials are up to in regards to illegal migrants in the city. To listen to him speak; the open board has more to do with funneling money into corrupt politicians hands than it does about illegals voting.

These politicians allow more and more illegals in and allow them to terrorize neighborhoods because of the kick backs they receive.

The ironic issue that Liberals have to face is that their silence on these matters is harming the very people they are pretending to care about. The family that migrated to this country to escape the violence of their old neighborhoods are the exact same people that are being terrorized by the exact same violent offenders in their new neighborhoods.

I feel sorry for people who think like you. You're doomed, because there is absolutely no way for the rich world to stop mass migration from poor countries. It isn't just the US; most other Western countries are coping -- or rather, failing to cope -- with similar influxes. This is an unstoppable flood, the legacy of colonialism and centuries of exploitation of the rest of the world by Westerners. As a people sow, so shall they reap.

You cannot escape no matter how hard you try. Either learn to embrace and assimilate the migrants (they are a great bonus to the US economy, anyway, and more law-abiding, on average, than US-born citizens) or be swamped. Your choice, but you haven't much time left to make it. American natives will have to adapt to survive. People with an anti-immigrant attitude probably won't make it, while those who are willing to live and let live will thrive.

I am not, as you seem to think, some kind of promoter of illegal immigration; merely a student of history who sympathises with the human predicament. What you're seeing is not new; the Native Americans saw it too. Better hope it ends better for you than it did for them...

So this is actually a very important point, and not one many people realize or understand. It is also a very, very, strong case for term limits on politicians. Here's why...

Politicians start out getting elected on principle. Then, they eventually cave in to bribery, corruption, favors and payoffs. Every time this happens it's evidence against them. Sooner or later someone will use this evidence against that politician. This part is free. Blackmail doesn't cost the person doing the blackmail anything, unlike a payoff which does.

Politicians who remain in office too long will eventually have their misdeeds used against them. Then, when they get blackmailed, they are no longer serving the citizens who elect them but rather the criminals who control them for corrupt purposes.

Hollywood is in deep with politicians. Most think both are all about the money but I think blackmail plays a much bigger role.

One victim video taped the crime wave and brought it the news when the authorities ignored the comunity because they don't have enough resources.

The video shows that the entire set of buildings are being victimized.... but your right who cares about them, their pore and marginalized.

Funny the left would rather put the energy into branding something than ensuring public safety from the established behavior that gangs/mobs have and do prey of neighborhoods.

I don't know if this tidbit is relevant here, but our Homestead, in particular our house, is being overrun with insects like venomous spiders and stinging wasps and other insects. it's getting to be a MAJOR ANNOYANCE.

The venomous snakes kept to themselves under the porch but the pests are INDOMINABLE AND OVEREWHELMING.

We'd rather be focused on the FLORA AND FAUNA.
