There was an assassination attempt on him recently. I would think there are a lot of people, news, and security personnel that are interested in how something like this would be handled post-attempt.

Imagine your daughter was lured by an internet pedo you caught sneaking in the window she left open. The next time when you see a guy lurking on the sidewalk would you think your neighbor is a decent human if he says, "who cares?"

I don't mean to be rude, but it shouldn't be far-fetched to "care" about such a thing given the circumstances. If your purpose is to just be a disruptor, then you should consider your value to society before next sharing your opinion. Some people have lost too much decency. I truly hope you are not falling that far.

I went to the County Fair last night, and there was so many booths with “Support Republicans”, “Support Trump”, and there was a raffle for a gun (which hubby entered). Those booths were hopping! Not a single democrat booth.

I’m in North Carolina. Outside the big cities, this isn’t unusual. I asked hubby why he didn’t get a yard sign (jokingly), and he said that he wanted to remain anonymous on who he was going to vote for. I believe that this is also not unusual for the average person. The left is crazy, and therefore people who WILL vote for Trump don’t share their views.Who wants their car keyed if they have a Trump sticker on their bumper? Or all their flowers destroyed in their front yard, or worse, because they have a Trump sign?

Sorry, Mods, I know I went off topic a little, but trying to illustrate how the left’s craziness has made the silent majority more silent.

Agreed; after you dehumanize a person or a group of people it starts to become less important when violence is comitted against them.

The Democrats have done a successful job dehumanizing their political opponents and their supporters by categorizing them as an existential threat to democracy.

I saw the video yesterday. The one guy stood back and held his hands up to allow the security and police do their work. It is the radical Left who are violent and lawless.
