I hope he doesn't reverse his affiliations as candidate of the independent party, there's a lot of voters who are "undecided" and need a strong confident leader who represents all the miscellaneous elements who don't subscribe to either majority. He can promote Trump as a friend, or underline his virtues as a Republican and illustrate that common ground between factions, but don't simply swap hats because it's convenient. That's going to give the wrong message to Americans.

Conceding to Trump is one thing, bait and switch tactics are another. Independents may not be forgiving if they sense that they have been played and attempting to merge campaigns can have that effect. RFK must tread cautiously to avoid further alienating constituents who are disillusioned with the two party system, hence my earlier comment about sending the wrong message.

I'm on the fence with this, waiting to see what
transpires. But I have a hesitancy about Trump
giving RFK Jr any position, or conceding any
ground to gain an endorsement.

While I appreciate some positions RFK Jr holds,
especially his work in the child vaccine world,
I saw red flags with his son leaking the phone
conversation.

Apparently it's being reported that the Trump endorsement is true via a Pennsylvania court filing where he withdrew from the states ballot.

His candidacy was particularly convenient for those who prefer an alternative party leader instead of picking head or tails on a coin that is rapidly declining in value, they think it's a lose lose so they wanted to begin a new chapter under a less controversial brand. Now they may feel like he's doing a Biden and dropping out so their nominations go to Trump by default even if they purposely avoided him, which pushes them in the other direction or sours their enthusiasm for the election altogether.

I did read that RFK and Nicole were trying to get to 5%,
which would have given them the ability to register as
a party, I suppose that seemed logical at the time.

With Biden Harris Waltz doing the musical chair thing,
it changed the dynamic. Seems lots of people didn't
want to vote for Biden, even though his platform was
far closer to a Democratic platform, where Harris Waltz
is radical left.

Its hard to say how it will turn out, but the fact that
Biden Harris Watz is making a commotion, seems that
indicates they know it will harm Harris's numbers.

My 2 cents at this moment.

I'd say RFK and Tulsi is a good trade for Kinzinger and Cheney......

The best part, if true, is how they have been using him in polling as well the left saying he is taking votes away from Trump to show Joe was winning and even Kamala. 4% National Average. If he brought in half and also other independents it is a good move.

It cannot hurt...until the media starts to say it does.

His name will stay on the ballots even though he's out and supporting Trump.

Yes, also he added that if Trump/ Harris tie electorally that he could still be President in a contingent election. So he is just suspending his campaign.
