Just because Lincoln ended slavery doesn’t mean the Republican Party was always for ending slavery and every republican was for this. Lincoln originally was not trying to end it in totality (not because he didn’t want to but because it was considered too drastic) but wanted to essentially phase it out.

Just because The Democrat Party says they are not continuing slave style policies doesn't mean they aren't. 😊

If a doctor and a construction worker made the same amount no one would want to be a doctor.

Why go through 8 years of school ?

If everyone made the same, why not just be a greeter at Walmart? Just sit there all day saying hello to people and make the same as a doctor.

No one in history has ever become a Doctor because they actually wanted to be a Doctor, wanted to help and heal people; its always about the paycheck?

I know I wouldn't want to spend my life as a walmart door greater... that sounds like a awful existence. No mater how you slice it I think I would always opt to be what I am now regardless of the paycheck; I actually enjoy what I do for my career. If money wasn't an issue I still would be an Engineer and I would have still gone to college for 6 years (learning was fun).

Na, it's not the sharing that is the problem with communism. It's the people who run it that eventually (or from the start) come to see that they are better and more deserving then everyone else that is the problem. They hord resources for themselves and the society eventually get less and less and less untill they are all equally rock bottom pore. It's human nature to hord the resources you have control over.

Well.

That certainly blows the whole "The Civil War was fought over slavery" narrative out of the water. The South couldn't have been fighting to preserve slavery if the North wasn't fighting to end it.

The DNC is a wolf in sheeps clothing.

Communism and socialism are not actually good forms of society, BUT most times there are people at the top who make these forms of government bad, the people work hard and the government does not distribute the wealth properly. The bigger the government and the more people, the worse the inequity.

If I was young yet, being that I was a hard worker, I could do about the same in either of those forms of government. But in this country, neither would work, many people here do not think they should have to produce any more than they want to produce, they want a job but do not want to work and some will actually do things to sabatage a good efficient symbiotic working atmosphere.

The Democrats who want socialism must understand that there are people like them that just want to do what they have to and both communism and socialism require everyone to work hard and efficiently and produce products. Everyone needs to work together, nobody is better than anyone else in communism and socialism by theory, so our nation will crumble quickly if we try to revert in this country. Look how the Democrats want to bring in immigrants in the country because their kids do not want to do physical work. They must think their kids are worthless because they can't even pick berries or vegetables. They believe we can enslave these immigrants and other countries people so we can sit behind a desk and get fat and rich.

Everyone has to work in communist countries, everyone has to produce. Same with a legitimate socialist country...I suspect it would be the same in a marxist society.
