This is what the election is over.

Are we a land of Laws, that are equally enforced?

Or.

Are we a land of double standards and hypocrisy, where laws are selectively enforced base on politics?

We the People, decide where America ends up...

Retired NYPD Lt. exposes how Biden-Harris admin 'skewed' crime record: 'Doesn't take a qualitative genius'

The White House bragged that its policies contributed to record low crime in America but Retired New York City Police Lt. Darrin Porcher said the data is 'skewed'

Retired NYPD officer discussed the White House's recent revealing how they are fighting crime in the U.S.

Porcher said that realistically that there has been a "meteoric rise" in the past three years under Biden's leadership.

"There's been a meteoric rise in crime over the last three years under the Biden administration, as we relate to either the migrant crisis, violent crimes that are occurring in the cities or the counties that common citizens live in," he said.

"Perception is key," Porcher said. "Whenever we as a public perceive that crime is higher, that is when it is incumbent on the government to enforce the rule of law."

The former NYPD Lieutenant said that "history is the best teller of what lies in the future," and to consider the result of progressive agendas in major U.S. cities like Los Angeles, Chicago and New York City.

"When we speak to what's happening in the larger cities, history is the best teller of what lies in the future," he said. "If you don't pay attention, you're going to embark upon the same mistakes that happened in the past."

So when we look at a lot of the larger cities, such as Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, New York, we clearly see there's a consistent narrative that is a progressive agenda that does not move towards punishing criminals," he said. "But it seems that law abiding citizens are the recipients of a miscarriage of justice."

"Criminals are being provided with more rights, and fewer rights are being forwarded to us as common citizens," Porcher said.

Democrats do not enforce Law equally if at all

There's nothing to debate here.

Either you are for Law being enforced, equally, or you are not.

That's what the elections are about this year.

Constitutional Republic, if We the People, can keep it...

Yeah, the crime rate is nowhere near what it was in the 1990's.

Make the American crime rate Great Again?

U.S. Crime Rate & Statistics 1960-2024

Also, by some measures, crime rates have been falling in recent years:

What the data says about crime in the U.S.

Neither the Democratic Party nor the Republican Party are a threat to the Constitutional Republic. It's biggest threats are those of small numbers of its armed radicalized citizens who are prepared to take violent action against the majority of their fellow Americans, to threats real or imagined.

it's a brilliant plan. If you stop arresting people, the "crime rate" goes down. You can totally control the narrative and make yourself look amazing. Sure there are victims, but as long as they aren't you, who the # cares, they can just get over it. Crybaby bitches.

You must be one of the smartest posters evah.

It is fixing the inflation problem. Just stop count the price increase of the goods people use.

Sorry, incarcerations went up, while crime rates were falling, so the scenario you mention clearly does not fit the data:

United States incarceration rate

Things that make you go hmmmm....?

The "FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT!" slogan that you have in your avatar could easily be conceived by some as an incitement to physical violence and civil disobedience.

I mean, if you wanted to support a particular political cause/party, "vote, vote, vote" would be a far better and more legally and Constitutionally compliant way to achieve things.

Does that, perhaps, make you one of the 'evil' people?

Your map just re enforces the Op. Look at the incarceration rate in Liberal states. My state has a rate nearly double that of California, because Liberal DAs don't press charges.

Notice that Dem run states are the same. Low rates despite the population size compared to Conservative states. In California, you can mob a store and steal $950 worth of stuff and IF you get caught and IF the DA presses charges, it's still just a slap on the wrist. No jail time and no reimbursement to the victim.

That's how you manipulate the numbers to make Liberals look good.

Well, I'm certainly not starting my day by arguing with abysmal sycophants.

There's nothing to be ashamed of and it's getting really old. You can't break the programming. It's been ~20 years of indoctrination and incessant manipulation of preschool through college and unfortunately, the DOE has achieved their goals.

Not only have they ruined our youth, but they have managed to turn grown adults, well into their 40s and 50s+, that have a reference point and should know better, into gleefully faithful sellouts.

Anyway, enjoy. It's futile and I'm over it.

Yeah, the biggest criminals are the government, BUT, It is your neighbour that you should be wary of first because they are the ones that ruin your immediate life, like breaking into your house, robbing it, raping your wife and daughter, killing you etc. etc.

I know, and arguing against someone who thinks that ancient Turks currently rule America, is also probably a waste of time, too.

My map?

LOL.

America, on average across all states has a per-capita incarceration rate three times nations like Australia and New Zealand. Even in the US states with lower incarceration rates, they are still up at one of the highest of almost anywhere else in the world.

Compare to countries with a low crime rate and a low incarceration rate, like Switzerland, with a crime index of 24.9 crimes per 100k of population and an incarceration rate of 73 prisoners per 100k population.

By contrast the USA has a crime index of 49.2 crimes per 100k of population and an incarceration rate of 531 prisoners per 100k of population.

That's nearly twice as much crime and more than 7 times the incarceration per 100,000 population in the USA, compared to Switzerland.

Don't just compare one bad US state against another slightly less bad US state, that's setting too low a bar.

The USA is just one country in a world of hundreds of countries.

The USA might be your whole world, but it isn't ours, and its comparative numbers show that something drastically wrong in human terms is happening there.

Or just simply lie about it.

Democrats say lying is OK, right ?

The end justifies the means....

That's what you get when you have DAs and judges that don't enforce the laws they are there for.

This is an across the board issue, not just blue vs red cities. Yes, it is more prominent in certain cities vs others. But, when you have a guy that is a 3, 4, or 5 time offender and all they get is a slap on the wrist, what message does that send to others who are doing, or want to do, the same thing?

Trump's supporters say his lies are protected free speech. A Constitutional right set in the 1st amendment.

But the US Constitution only sets limits on what the government can legislate, and does not cover personal rights, so someone who lies to someone else, is prosecutable of committing fraud, or perjury, or defamation.

Because a lie is not free-speech. The government cannot implement a law that prevents someone from lying, but private individuals and governments can prosecute a liar.

This was a great neighbourhood till our government decided, without our consent, to move in illegal immigrant animals among us. And they are animals.
