As I'm sure you already knew, my post was in direct response to yours.

I completely agree with the rebuilding comment, but some of us don't have enough time to rebuild from ashes again.

That was my only point.

I am a big proponent of controlled burns, even uncontrolled ones...in selected areas. Literally and metaphorically, but I'm not sure I'm ready to advocate uncontrolled burns everywhere.

Now, Biden and/or Obama would likely be given a hero's welcome. I'm not sure what would happen with Harris, the verdict is still out there; it could go either way.

I’d have to do a search for it to get all the recent times his talked positively of the country, but I have to go to bed unfortunately.

Most recent time though, was during the Musk interview where he told Elon that they’d go there if Kamala won the election because it would be a safer place.

He is oddly obsessed with Venezuela though… look it up.

No, it's Argentina. I wondered if you were referring to the X interview. He talked several times about Argentina.

In fact, he said in recent elections they had even used the "MAGA" slogan, as in...Make Argentina Great Again.

Most of us don't have time to rebuild because what is coming will take many years, maybe even hundreds, to overcome. We will all endure the exact opposite of what we have had since the nation's inception. It has been a creeping plague but it is almost upon us now. Totalitarian autocracy is coming to this nation. Freedom will not survive.

PS: There will be no Civil War or Revolution. We are a nation of sheep being led to the slaughter.

You may be wrong. Suppose they are a bit like the Soviet Communists. They may have been happy enough being in charge of a society like Soviet Russia, where they weren't rich but at least felt like they were in charge.

If they hadn't focused on exporting Communism and hadn't had to fight the Nazis, they may still have been limping along to this day.

Whether that's true or whether they are like any modern Democrats is not something I know.
