I am kind of hoping Kamala wins.

This whole country has become one giant #show. If she gets elected, the chance of this whole house of cards coming crashing down increases exponentially.

The media can spend endless hours blowing smoke up our asses about how great the economy is doing, when there will be like 50 million homeless people because of her continuing the policies of the great genius Joe Biden.

Of course they won't show the 50 million homeless people they will just tell us George Clooney is doing great and looking extra handsome in his new jet, because Kamala made the world a better place.

So maybe she will win and hasten our countrie's demise into oblivion. Then one day the Chinese will proclaim her greatness to our children and grandchildren...

This whole world has just become a giant pile of endless bull#. Let's just get it over with... VOTE KAMALA!

Disagree.

I mean I hear ya, and the slide into oblivion by a billion cuts does certainly suck.

But. The US is the only thing standing against a completely evil and blatantly bland takeover of the world.

Communism writ large and bloody.

I’m not saying the US is the best.
But we are keeping the wolves at bay.

If only momentarily.

Thanks for the reply. Well we will not be holding the wolves at bay for long when we are 35 trillion in debt and paying 800 billion on the interest alone. Our goose is cooked. We might as well sit down for one last good meal.

Had to star and flag this.

Awesome.

Let it all burn. I am planning to be out of the US next year, permanently if she wins.

Let's go one step beyond letting it burn. Let's enjoy every moment of watching it burn to the ground.

And when it all burns down, we can sit back and have a good laugh as they try to blame it on Trump (bka Emmanuel Goldstein).

Ah yes.

Well we are gonna play the Ace and try our hand at World War again here soon.

May the odds be forever in our favor.

You're catastrophizing. Making things out in your mind to be much worse than they actually are.

The peak in homelessness (not counting the Great Depression years) occurred under George W. Bush in 2007, when it was about 647 thousand. Today it is about 582 thousand, an improvement of about 11%. Your figure of 50 million is fantasy.

www.statista.com...

The peak in violent crime occurred in 1991 at a rate of about 758 per 100,000 people. Today it is less than half that.

www.statista.com...

National debt as a percentage of the Gross National Product peaked in 2020, under Trump, at about 133% of the GDP. That was mainly due to the Republican tax cuts of 2017 (which reduced income to the Treasury) coupled with a huge spike in spending during the Covid pandemic (which increased debt).

fred.stlouisfed.org...

Inflation peaked in Jun of 2022, at about 9%. Today, it is less than 2.9%--close to the historical average before Covid.

www.usinflationcalculator.com...

I'm not saying that we don't have problems. I'm just saying that your idea that we're about to crash and burn is not supported by facts.

Just off the top of my head, your last paragraph is absolute BS.

The CPI has not included what they consider "volatile" expenditures since 1980.

Silly things we don't need... like gasoline, electricity, food, insurance.

Actual inflation if you include those things that nobody appears to need puts our inflation rate at roughly 12%

I always enjoy reading what your owners tell you though...

And I highly approve of the OP.

Let it collapse as soon as possible.

That way we can get rid of the deadwood and start to rebuild.

So you don't see any problems with paying $800 billion just to pay interest on the national debt when we haven't had a balanced budget in like 20 years or more?

LOL, I love you folks.

It's going to happen. Even if Trump is reelected, that will only slow the inevitable. I see it like this. If certain people want gambling in their state, eventually, they will get it passed. If people want pot in their state, if they keep plugging year after year, they will get it. If they want alcohol in their county, eventually, if they get it on the ballot year after year, they will get it.

These criminal bastards won't quit. They will persue their evil agenda until they get it.

The fall is coming. No empire lasts. They all fall. It's only a mater of time.

Forest fires are a quite naturally occurring thing that in the end are better for the entire forest.

They get rid of the dead wood and underbrush and result in renewed growth.

For everything else in the ecosystem as well.

Why continue to "prop up" something that needs to end so that it can start again, grow again, flourish again?
