Olympic closing ceremony

Has to be done doesn't it, given the contoversy over the opening ceremony.
I currently have it running in the background on BBC
BBC iPlayer
The ceremony itself hasn't actually started yet, but so far I'm puzzled by the various presenters mode of dress... all 'hawaiian shirts' and gauche colours!
The ex-sportsmen/women are dressed OK though.
Is it just me?
Oh, apparently Tom Cruise is 'dropping in'..... if you can be bothered.

Haven't watched any of it.
Too many 'real life' things going on here.
I had planned to try to watch gynastics and swimming.
But after what they pulled in the opening ceremony,
I just couldn't stomach giving the Olympics any attention.

The Eiffel Tower has been evacuated after a shirtless man was spotted climbing the iconic landmark just hours before the Olympics closing ceremony.

Did they do a mock crucifixion and stab a tranny with the rubber phallic of Longinus?

Or did they play 7 minutes of heaven with a dreidel?

Don't care about the wokelympics...after learning about the opening ceremonies and all the trash issues going on within it...at this point WHO CARES!? It was a disaster from the beginning...extremely controversial, and frankly it's better to support the real athletes after this olympics farce is done and over with. IMO.

The whole event has been marred.
Lame judging.
After the event issue with medals.

Never a truer word spoken.

I'm not going to bother watching the Olympics anymore, they have gone so off tilt that it is not what I consider proper principles of sports anymore. I do not trust them to make sports fair anymore. Especially for women athletes.

Well...(sadly) I didn't watch a single event. It's gone THAT far downhill for me.

I remember back in the 80's going out to hurriedly buy blank VHS tapes so I could record every event, so I could watch them when I was awake. Now, I'd no sooner even turn them on to watch even a minute than I would go to the dentist.

What a shame.

Edit - When I first started to write this post, I was going to say..."Are they over already???" Then, I realized I couldn't care less.
