That’s where we disagree. I think that only the truth seekers will move on to M theory and I respect them immensely.
I believe most aren’t looking for truth. Most are trying to vindicate their life’s work.

Project 2025 is over 900 pages. You don’t even live here.
Are you immortal? Because that seems like a foolish use of your time.

I am an academic sort of guy. When I was at school, no joke, I read entire libraries.

My eyesight is worse now, but online stuff (like the 2025 management doc) I can zoom the font.

Oh. I think I have a better understanding now. Some would consider you highly educated. Others would call you highly indoctrinated. Like a string theorist who has dedicated 40 years of his life to an incorrect belief and is too invested to back out now. Sad. But part of the human condition.
Very well put and so true. Reminds me of all the nutty professors we have now. They’re very vested in their indoctrination.

I think it is stupid people who cannot conceive of the multiplicity of alternatives who are vested in their singular opinion. They don't need to be indoctrinated, it's all they know.

Interesting view coming from a broken record that only spins to the left.

No, not always but I understand you seem to have a preconception and often a hatred for anyone that doesn’t think like you. There are things I agree with the left on at times when they’re not morally bankrupt and make common sense but that’s become farther and fewer between nowadays.

Hate is an emotion.

Yes, that’s right. Emotions come from yourself.

Nice line but you don't believe that really since you have to realize you are what you just described and even though some of us here are super educated, some seem so stupid to keep repeating the talking points that have been rebuked 100% despite your protests. Even if they had a decent education, it was wasted on the wrong philosophy of "narrative defeats reality". Narrative defeats itself when it is a lie.

You are defeated and just don't believe it yet!

Content for character. We get to see the leftists characters have no content here. Just desperation for the continuation of false narratives that help Marxists divide and conquer the stupid 1st then their neighbors. You all have failed and you have given us the proof we were right. You see, to indoctrinate someone would require that all their info be channelled into one ideology or worldview. When people actually read and consider multiple views from multiple sources, and consider those, then that is the advantage of a broadly informed and educated view.

The right wing echo-chamber has no leftist ideologists and so they cannot conceive of, nor dare do they do the unthinkable and speak of, the commonality of goals of the two systems. They self-censure for fear of being shunned by their clique, and therefore they self-indoctrinate, and their view of anything other than the primary narrative of their peers must be enemy. and 'leftist'. If you stand at the right of everything, then everything else is to your left.

The same situation in reverse is true of the left-wing.

If you recall, the reason this part of the thread started was the incredulity that I had read the 988+ pages of the 2025 Project documents. Subsequent posts have called me a leftist and indoctrinated, sometimes in the same post! Can you see the irrationality of such accusations?

For those who cannot expand their ideological shackles, I am not particularly leftist. My voting preferences in the past have been mostly centre-right, and I would consider myself to be 'centrist'. For example: If the right-wing have a good policy I will agree with that. If the left do, I'll agree with that. Most people in the world are centrist, and couldn't give a damn about which 'side' a policy comes from. That is the difference between peer-group politics and the real world.

The right-wing are politically fascist. They embody the same principles that were ideologic identifiers of the Nazi and Italian Fascist parties.

The left-wing are politically communist/socialist. They embody the same principles that caused the formation of the USSR and PRC.

The left and right, the fascists and the communists, are political opposites. Traditional opponents.

The USA actually has gone to war against the right-wing fascist regimes of Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and Imperial Japan, but was itself mostly a more moderate right-wing fascist country.

But the USA has also gone to war against Communist regimes, too. Not because it was threatened, but because it was an aggressor that ignores the sovereignty of other countries.

Right-wing fascist countries always promote a strong and active military. It is part of their ideology. They also blame others for their own internal problems. It gives them a reason to attack, and the promise is always that 'if this one foe is vanquished', or 'if this one election is won', then peace, prosperity and tranquillity will flourish - but it never ever turns out that way.

I hear the same often repeated rhetoric from Trump (like his comments that triggered this topic thread) and see it for what it is. He will fix the problem and it will go away forever. But it hasn't, and it doesn't, and he can't. And in his fools crusade while 'tilting ineffectually at windmills', 100 other things start to go wrong, every time.

Take for instance Trump still going on about his wall. It has been shown that it can be cut through in minutes with hand tools, and recently a big section of his 'new super strong' wall blew over in a storm. It is a non-solution, massively expensive, that no other country will ever pay for, but he's still saying it will solve the problem of unregistered border crossings. It just can't.

So ... What's Donald Trump going to do in order to remain president forever?

For the sake of argument lets assume Donald Trump wins back the presidency and leds a remarkable bad administration.

It's now January 20th 2029; the Democrat candidate for president won a unanimous 538 sweep; but she is prevented from taking office because Donald Trump declares himself dictator for life.

How did it happen? What plausible set of events occurred over the next four years that allow Trump to declare himself as the King of the United States of America ... and then hold it long enough to prevent the president elect from taking office?

If only you could present yourself in a manner that reflected how intelligent you claim you are.

It's actually really simple. You, being a former govt employee and also and advocating for the removal of rights of the people makes you the fascist.

No matter how many ways you try to justify it, as has been demonstrated by your inability to grasp things like statistics and data, you'll still be seen in that light.

Have you tried just leaving people's rights alone? Then perhaps you yourself can unburden yourself from the shackles you claim others to have.....

I have already explained that I have centre-right leanings.

I have never advocated for the removal of rights. I have pointed out that the rights granted to American citizens under its Bill of Rights is inadequate in comparison to most other countries in the world under the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. I would be advocating for the addition of rights, not the removal of existing ones.

No matter how many ways you try to justify it, as has been demonstrated by your inability to grasp things like statistics and data, you'll still be seen in that light.

LOL,

My primary job roles have been because I am very good, and qualified, at data analysis. That was what I was employed with the government for.

I would like to think that my data analysis was the primary reason a newly registered party went straight into government, not just politics, at the next election after they formed.

Under any democratic system of selection of governance, it's all a numbers game that you can't win unless you do absolutely everything right, mathematically and interpretively, because your competition are also doing the same. Its an optimization problem that others are also trying to solve.

Have you tried just leaving people's rights alone? Then perhaps you yourself can unburden yourself from the shackles you claim others to have.....

If you leave any complex system to run without maintenance or clever adaptive feedback control loops, it will degenerate and corrupt over time. Everything rusts!

It would be remiss of me to not push for improvement of human rights, especially as there are new technologies and paradigms unthought of by the framers of the original sets of rights, which are now vitally important and impacting upon the quality of life of everyone.

Law and rights must evolve to suit changes in lifestyle and technology, otherwise we'd all still have to be employing flagmen to walk in from of our cars, trains, and trucks.

So when I say I don't believe you, that's the reason why.

And I also already said that if only you could present yourself in a manner that reflected how intelligent you claim you are.

Removing rights because you don't either don't understand statistics or intentionally ignore them to suit your own political ideology is still removing rights.

But don't worry, I'm not the only one laughing at you.
