I have never approved of the death penalty for murder.

But, I have to say, I'd make some exceptions.

With everything else that's been going on recently I thought I should mention that today a 24-year-old Kurdish migrant who has been living rough on the streets of Londonistan since 2020 has been convicted of the attempted murder of a postman who was on his way home after a days work , Brwa Shorsh, the 24-year-old Kurdish migrant pushed the 61 year old postman onto the track of the London underground.

Mr Potoczek, a postman who was on his way home from work, narrowly missed touching the live rail on the southbound Victoria Line.
He was helped back up to the platform by another passenger.

The driver of an oncoming train said that "if he had been on the track a few seconds later, he would have been killed", Inner London Crown Court heard.

Shorsh was found guilty by a jury after 32 minutes of deliberations.

Waiting for the sentencing to discover the amount of time we'll be paying for his keep and whether he'll be deported when he's severved the 40% of whatever he's given .... yeah I know he won't be deported because "Human Rights !"

I sometimes feel it would be nice if WE had Human Rights too.

A Terror motive is being explored after an army chaplain was stabbed outside Renmore barracks in Co Galway , Ireland.

Father Paul F Murphy was stabbed multiple times outside the barracks which left him with serious but not life-threatening injuries , his attacker was tackled and detained by Army personnel and arrested by police , the only description given is he is a teenager.

Irish police have said they are investigating whether terrorism was a motive but say they don't think it is part of a wider conspiracy , which I guess means it wasn't sectarianism.

He was attacked at about 10.45pm on Thursday and taken to University Hospital Galway.

The teenager was arrested after being restrained by members of the military and remains in custody at a Garda station.

Ireland's Defence Forces confirmed shots were fired by on-duty personnel in response to the attack.

The scene has been cordoned off while forensic examinations take place.

Ireland's defence minister Michael Martin said in a statement: "I condemn the violent attack at Renmore Barracks last night.

"I commend the members of the Defence Forces on duty at the time, whose intervention was critical. Our thoughts are with the Defence Forces member injured in the attack."

Obviously it's to dangerous for me to speculate on the motive but more details will emerge when he is charged.

If a "terror motive is being explored" then i think we can safely say the person is a non national.

I'd be highly surprised otherwise.

In news this morning, the authorities are stating the kid is Irish, but he was shouting about our peace-keeping missions in Mali in Africa. So thats where the terrorism angle comes from.
Apparently the priest was wearing normal everyday attire so he wouldnt have been recognised as a priest unless the young fella already knew him.

From the link

A male youth was restrained by members of the Defence Forces and arrested by gardaí at the scene shortly after the incident. It’s understood that the teenager is Irish and under the age of 18.

Also,

Gardaí are understood to be investigating statements made at the scene about Irish military involvement in overseas missions uttered by the teenage attacker, according to Garda sources. It is believed that his pronouncements were around missions in Mali in Africa.

REPORT FROM YESTERDAY

He's going to court today, reporting restrictions in place as he's under 18.

I was just watching a video from Irish youtuber Derek Domino saying the same thing when I saw your reply , he also like many of us thinks it is planned migration and part of a greater project , perhaps.

More information on the attack and subsequent investigation on Galway news.

The Irish Mirror has learned that gardai have searched a property in the Galway area connected to the suspect - and certain items of “literature” were obtained. Sources say officers have also combed through various troubling and radical social media posts allegedly made by the suspect.

The suspect is understood to have vocalised a grievance he has with the Irish Defence Forces ongoing presence in Mali. Gardai are therefore understood to be treating the stabbing on Thursday night as a potential terror related incident - and believe the teen deliberately targeted the Defence Forces in a pre-planned attack. However, sources say gardai do not believe anyone else was involved in the attack - and the teenager was radicalised online.
