It appears to me that Vance wants a national abortion ban.

That won't go over well with many voters, just saying.

www.msn.com...

After the SCOTUS ruled that, summarizing, that the right to an abortion is not in the constitution at that point the abortion issue became a state issue and Donald Trump has said that is where it should be. Trump or Vance or anyone can have their opinions and beliefs but it is up to the voters in each state to make it a paramount issue and elect the govenor who will deliver their values on abortion. Any other take is the msm gaslighting, Trump wanted the abortion issue to be a state issue and now it is in the hands of the voters where it should be.
Trump has repeatedly said this.

It's not an MSN thing, it's words directly from Vance's mouth.

and the SCOTUS ruling was directly from their mouths. The abortion issue rests with the states. Anyone talking about a "federal" action on that topic is showing their ineptitude in grasping what the SCOTUS ruling is. Look it up, educate, then speak.

JD Vance says media twisted remarks on abortion and domestic violence. We looked closer.

JD Vance's own words
The Biden campain has chosen this issue to run on so of course the media will report this ad nauseum. When you say it was JD Vances own words directly out of his mouth you are not taking into account how the words and the context can be manipulated. Just like when Biden said "Trump said if he doesn't win they'll be a bloodbathe" the msm reported that too or the Charlottesville quote that certainly were words that came out of Trumps mouth but they were twisted, taken out of context right? This is msm gaslighting and you are falling for it.

It's politics and he has to watch what he says about it, same as Trump, but their inconsistencies are being called out.

In an appearance on NBC News’ “Meet the Press” last week, Vance danced around the issue of medication abortion, which is used early in pregnancy, before finally saying he supported access to it. He offered a vague stance on reproductive rights overall, saying: “We actually have to have an important conversation in this country about what our abortion policy should be.”

He was similarly noncommittal during a May appearance on CBS News’ “Face the Nation,” where he refused to say what he thinks about a federal standard for abortion limits but said the “gross majority of abortion policy” should be made at the state level. He didn’t offer any further explanation.

Why does Vance need to have an important conversation in this country if he already made his mind up that it should be state mandated? Nonsensical.

I took in a piece from the liberal MSM on J.D. and it sounded concerning whether or not you always take such things with a grain of salt.

It appears to all come down to alignment. Trump has steadily re-aligned his position to those of Vance, NatCon and NatRx to be the "great leader" that will avoid the USA falling into the Dark Ages that those groups fear. While Vance, in public at least, has done a complete 360 from his commentaries made about Trump in the 2016 run.

In terms of reproductive rights, Vance's contingent, understanding the role immigration plays economically, propose to end it's need by raising domestic birth rates. They can do that in a number of ways, like the Nazis, they can incentivise large families, but I would also expect them to try to restrict anything resembling Planned Parenthood too.

Beyond that, white working class voters in the US have consistently demonstrated their ability and willingness to vote against their own best interests. And white middle class women have consistently voted to restrict the ability of working class women to achieve equality in pay and work-place protections.

From the outside looking in, Vance and Trump in combination, seem more likely to bring about a Dark Age than they are in preventing one but it is, as in all things, a matter of perspective.

Regarding the short Youtube clip I posted two posts up:

I just googled up several articles on J.D. Vance and Peter Thiel from not necessarily liberal publications like Forbes.

The admittedly seemingly hate-filled Maddow would have us believe Thiel turned Vance from the law and toward venture capital fresh out of college and his first three jobs were failures, then Thiel lined up some contributors and shooed Vance into Congress.

It does sometimes kind of disturbingly seem as if Trump's financial situation may not be as sound as it looks. He has gone bankrupt a few times, and he just got hit with a massive fine. What if it turned out he had been in the pocket of some cabal of billionaires and that's why he only got a few miles of wall built while wasting the money and patience devoted to the task.

If Maddow's analysis is true, it suggests there's a possibility Thiel snatched up Vance out of college and deliberately led him into three disastrous failures in finance. What if Vance's own firm got some of Vance's own investment capital which was then lost? What if Vance has to do what Thiel and his friends say because bankrupt and ruined?
