ok everyone a couple thing to keep in mind here:
1 Sookiechacha could be right. Until we know more nothing should be off the table. I had already made my case against this thought but still we still have breaking news and need to know more to be certain.

2 from the sounds of the gun is sounds like a small caliber round from a silenced weapon. It also sounds close to where the microphones are placed.

Let's not eat ourselves up on this and dig into whats being reported and whats being presented.

One thing that has been reported is that smoke was being seen from the crow sitting behind and to Trumps left on the stage. Another thing was that after he is shot you can hear a person laugh. I think we might be able to figure out more so lets piece this together like we have in the past.

If you scratch or hit a deer with a bullet, it does not even move till it hears the noise. You're stunt comment is not even rational. He still could have a concussion from the bullet hitting the side of his head. Probably something like a 22 shell. I kept looking behind him to see if that bullet that grazed him hit anyone else in behind him. It probably came from somewhere he was looking at and flew off to the right without hurting anyone in view.

The secret service and police would not be involved in a PR stunt.

I don't see how my not believing this is real, saying that it smells like a PR stunt, is going to destroy our nation. But I can see how Trump can use it to do just that.
