Maybe parties should try selling their platform ahead of demonizing the opposition.

Elections are won by moderates and independents here in the US… France had a party that was made up of those, so it’s a lot harder for the left or right to win, evident by many years of elections.

My point wasn’t that disdain for the status quo is invalid… it’s that screaming fraud with no evidence looks silly, and makes it harder to be taken seriously as a party.

The right could have formed a coalition too, but my guess was they thought it was their race to lose, which they did.

Macron and LePen weren’t even in the election.

This was a parliamentary election which is determined by the amount of seats. Every party on the left formed a coalition just like Bibi has done many times.

Their respective parties WERE.

With the MASS PROTESTS of Gilets Jaunes and the weeks old breakthrough of the right, there is NO WAY, in a legitimate election that Macron's party came out ahead of the Right.
