there maybe some exceptions to the rule, but in some areas like government, healthcare, law, driving, and a whole host of other things people over a certain age should have to show their capable mentally.

Giuliani spewed a lot of 'opinions' in court, otherwise known as lies. However, he did that after taking an oath that he would not do such a thing. His license was contingent on him keeping his word.

The order from New York's Appellate Division First Department is the latest in a string of events tied to Giuliani's alleged actions to help Trump overturn the results of the 2020 presidential election.

--The panel of judges wrote in the court filing that Giuliani "communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers, and the public at large" regarding the 2020 election.

--They also said he "flagrantly misused" his position as Trump's lawyer and "deliberately violated some of the most fundamental tenets of the legal profession."

No, he lost his license because when a lawyer appears in a court of law and participates in a case, he/she is an officer of the court. As such, he/she is under oath to abide by the rules of the court. One of them is to not make false representations to the court. You can't represent something as true unless you have some evidence that is admissible in court that would substantiate that claim. These are different rules than apply to non-lawyers on the outside. Outside of court, he can tell the women that he has a 12 inch pecker and he believes that Biden cheated. It's a free country. Inside court, he couldn't make those claims unless he was prepared to (a) drop his pants and show what he's got and (b) produce some evidence of cheating. Of course, he couldn't do either of those things, so he broke the rules of the Judicial System, which he swore to uphold.

In other words, he lost his license to practice law because he's an unethical Trump lawyer.

Pretty much like other Trump lawyers: Michael Cohen, Sidney Powell, Kenneth Chesebro, James Troupis, Jenna Ellis, John Eastman, Christina Bobb, Jeffrey Clark, and Alina Habba, all of whom have faced or are facing some level of ethics complaints.

Trump sure knows how to pick 'em.

Quick question pertaining to another recent thread and this one too.

Say for instance Giuliani wanted to use the metrics and data from Dominion voting machines as evidence.

The court says no.

THEN they tell him because you didn’t provide evidence of your claim that the election was stolen from your client, we are of the opinion in this NY court that you should now be disbarred for making false claims about said election you wanted to expose.

Does any of this sound familiar?

ETA: when Biden wants a lawyer gone, he has the “sum’b!tch” fired or threatens to have $ swiped off the table.
