A few days before Jan. 6, Trump offered to mobilize about 10,000 National Guard to protect his demonstrators as they marched to the Capitol. The DC Mayor refused because she correctly thought that his demonstrators would not be in danger. He never offered National Guard troops to protect the Capitol FROM his demonstrators. Big difference.

He was also planning to accompany his demonstrators on their march to the Capitol, but at the last minute the Secret Service refused to let him go.

If he had gotten his way with these plans, he would have accompanied his demonstrators on their march to the Capitol accompanied by about 10,000 NG troops who were under his command as the Commander-in-Chief and arrived at the exact moment that the Joint Session of Congress was set to confirm Biden as the next POTUS.

What do you suppose would have happened next?
