Has Biden EVER had a foreign policy "win"?

The Southern Border ? Ah, Depends Who you Are I Guess................*)

As long as FJB gets his 10%

Seriously though, if Biden negotiates with Hamas he is likely to try swapping Texas for those hostages.

Or any Republican state.

To Joe those optics are just to good to pass up.

That would be “Union Jack”?

The American Colonists weren’t a bunch of murdering, kidnapping, rapist little b!tches so I don’t see your point.

x.com...

Bring em home

Are you sure the colonists weren’t the embodiment of those characteristics ?….. and more, much more, highly degenerate qualities.

History proved otherwise.

As it will with Israel.

Looks like this won't be necessary.

Breaking news that the UN has adopted a US backed resolution for a complete cease-fire in Gaza and a return of all hostages. The United Nations Security Council voted 14 to 0 to pass the resolution.

This is the plan Biden has been pushing and Netanyahu always backs away from. It's now backed by all the major world players. And Bibi is backed into a corner.

Edit to add this link: Link

And if they’re dead?

Have Hamas release the hostages first, alive.

We all know how Hamas likes to go first as seen on the 7th.

No ceasefire until then.

No end to the actual war until Hamas surrenders.

You mean to tell me if you were a Palestinian you wouldn't be pissed at the people murdering your family with some of the most advanced weapons ever created?

Nah, I’d be pissed at hamas who I elected to represent me for massacring 1.3k innocent people in a country that can wipe me off the planet. I’m really baffled why people can’t grasp this concept.

The people of Gaza exist in an open air prison.

They kind of created that on their own. They’ve had plenty of chances for independence and a two party state. They refuse to do that. To bad they’ve screwed Egypt over so many times, they don’t want them there either.

These days, laws change just as fast as the meaning of words.

War is genocide.

A riot is an insurrection.

It used to be called moving the goalposts.

And while the goalposts are in motion Israel is getting screwed.

Whats taken him so long? He should have been doing it from day one and been involved in the several Israel Hamas negotations that have taken place in Doha and Egypt.

Seems far too little, too late with most if not all hostages killed instead of being returned alive if he wasn't asleep at the wheel.

--

I think people are forgetting about Trump negotiating a one sided peace deal with the Taliban and release of 5000 of terrorists in Afghanistan and handing power over to them rather than negotiate with the Afghan government. US bases were guarded by the Taliban in the peace deal rather than Afghan military which meant the Taliban raided them and seized control immediately after US withdrawal and quickly seized power from the elected Afghan gov.

Biden completely ignored the deal and failed to adress how one sided it was, with the UK defence secretary calling it a 'rotten deaL' that 'told a Taliban that wasn't winning that they were winning, and it undermined the government of Afghanistan, and now we're in this position where the Taliban have clearly the momentum across the country.'

So you are more concerned about optics than actually saving people?

Noted...

WOW ..... that's dumb.

Noted ...

As has been said, if you reward terrorists by negotiating with them, then you just encourage more terrorism. If you give terrorists what they demand, they then know that ignoring civilized society and the rule of law will get them what they want. That is why you do not negotiate with terrorists ... you kick their ass until they are destroyed.

You do understand that there is no 'one world government' and that the world court doesn't actually rule the world, right?

Totally BLIND to your own Bigotry and Hypocrisy.

You just described yourself perfectly.
Actually, I think you see your own bigotry and hypocrisy and don't care.

While I agree with your point about not negotiating with terrorists, the reality is they've done it loads of times under various administrations and used to actively train and arm terrorist groups as part of foreign policy.

I can understand the outrage if this was a first for the US but they've done it many times such as the Taliban neogtions (which were largely praised on ATS), Iran Contra affair, most south American countries militias, supplying IRA with explosives to bomb UK, arming Sadam etc...

In the case of the IRA, NORAID funded, trained and armed them for 15 years and supploed them semtex despite knowing the IRA used them to kill UK troops and civillians, they remained the largest supplier of guns and funds for the terror group and turned a blind eye to the dozens of bombings in the UK as the CIA were worried Libya may gain influence if they didn't - this is all despite the UK and US being allies and meant to have a 'special relationship' and the IRA being a designated terror group.
