Maybe you like the language of the Miami Herald better. Although they also use the word "flotilla".

Can't read that one. But they're reporters, so they're going to use whatever words are going to create the most fear, and get the most clicks.

Here ya go. A link to the Tampa Bay Times article that starts out with the fear inducing statement:

"At no point have the ships or submarine posed a direct threat to the United States,” a U.S. official said."

Officials are saying that, but I’ve seen plenty of articles and social media posts going the other way, and talking about the missiles on board that can hit targets in minutes, or the sub that’s “missing” that the Navy is trying to find.

# Russia.

Have you and countrymen still got a pair of balls?
What a whiny set of bottlesless set of DC's you've become...nothing like the Yanks I and my parents knew.
What an embarrassment.

WTF has happened to the USA?

Too many Bond movies?

It’s been pretty clear years ago in the 2000’s. When Putin met with G.W. Bush and wanted Russia to be a part of NATO. Because naturally there would be many great advancements together going forward etc

Bush basically said it would be great, and all for it etc.

However, what great would other military industries do, or at least to the capacity and funding it craves?

Without Russia as the boogeyman?

Surely, NATO needs someone big enough near by Europe that’s a threat. Where drills, and the industrial capacity etc stays at a tempo.

Without Russia being the boogeyman, it basically plummets other sectors and military industries going forward. At least to a desired capacity/tempo etc

And here we are.

So, go enjoy supporting and clapping for a historical Ukrainian Nazi SS Stepan Bandera “Azov”. While shaking and acting victim propping Ukraine up as the bullet sponge against Russia.

Basically akin to one wrapping Ukrainian Nazi “Azov” around their hand, and start punching their own face in.

Russia wanted to be part of NATO, but didn’t want to meet any of the requirements and wanted special treatment no other member got.

Seems like the Kuznetzov will not be able to put to sea again, leaving Russia without an aircraft carrier.

If I'm not mistaken the Kuznetzov wasn't even able to make it out of the Med under her own power. She required tugs to return her to the Sevmorput Yard for drydock overhauls. She has lived up to the reputation of being a gigantic hole in the water that billions of rubles are dumped into.

Yes. Not even a proper aircraft carrier.

What a bore.

More of your boring, repetitive #e that has been disproven and invalidated on numerous occasions.
But you still you come back with the same old thing.....but what about Bandera?
You have nothing else, nada, zilch, # all.

Oh I forgot.....Putin wanted to join NATO.
NATO said great idea, apply just like everyone else has to.
But Putin is far too arrogant and above himself to do that....so Russia isn't a member of NATO.
And of course according to your reasoning its all NATO's fault.

Some people.

Grow up or give up.

It's boring, indeed.

Social media posts, yes. Articles, no. At least not from major news syndicates. Our media and the Biden admin are actually downplaying the exercises. Although they admit the Navy is "actively monitoring".

Putin expressing a desire to join NATO had to have been made in jest. A sarcastic joke. An absolutely laughable proposal. Russia joining NATO would be to NATO like a boxer knocking himself out. It is completely counter to the original purpose of NATO. Even foolish that NATO, or Russia for that matter would even seriously consider that proposal. Russia is NATO's primary adversary and vice versa. Putin was probably telling NATO, under his breath, to go screw themselves.

Or telling NATO they no longer had a legitimate purpose to exist.

Miami Herald: Russian sub deployment off Florida worries Pentagon that Moscow will stalk US coasts

New York Post: Four Russian warships, including a nuclear sub, now sitting 200 miles off the coast of Florida

Miami Herald: Capable of launching hypersonic missiles, Russian ships near Florida can pack a wallop

BBC: Russian warships arrive in Cuba in show of force

They aren't screaming "END OF THE WORLD" but they aren't downplaying it either. They also make a point to mention hypersonic weapons and how dangerous they could be that close to the US.

Oh no! The MSM is informing the public about current events and newsworthy developments. Horrible!

In those articles you linked to, where is the mention of a "missing sub" that the Navy can't find since that's specifically what you claimed they were writing about?

Just a taste of what is to come, while America is without a mentally sound President, for the first time in hundreds of years...

Russian Yasen-Class Nuclear Submarine “Kazan” Along With 3 Warships Arrive in Havana, Cuba.

Today, June 12th, is Russia Day, a national holiday in the Russian federation. The symbolism of the intentionally timed events happening today seems to be lost on most western media.

A Russian Yasen-class nuclear submarine named “Kazan” arrived in Havana, Cuba today after piloting through the Florida straits. Watching a massive nuclear submarine sail into Havana is something extraordinary considering all the provocations taking place between the USA and Russia surrounding the conflict in Ukraine.

You can tell people about events without making a point to point out things like "hypersonic weapons can reach the mainland in three minutes" or talking about how it "worries the Pentagon" when it doesn't.

But sure. The media doesn't play sides, and is just informing people. Whatever you say.

I didn't say the media was specifically writing about that. I said there were social media and media posts and there was mention of a "missing" sub.

Because Russia has never in history sent military units to Cuba or to train in South America. This is solely because Biden.

Supposedly, Biden has sent so much of our taxpayer-generated money to Ukraine, Zelenskyy and his forces have the Russia military stretched so thin, they have few resources available to cause trouble so far away from home.
