A Georgia appeals court has frozen former President Trump’s criminal trial proceedings as it takes up his appeal seeking to disqualify Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis (D), all but guaranteeing the trial will not be held before this year’s election.
The appeals court’s decision to stay the proceedings comes as it weighs whether Willis should be removed from prosecuting the case over her relationship with a top prosecutor who was also working on the case.

In Fanny's defense, her method of 'climbing the ladder' has worked for other women, such as Kamala. (s/)
I'm honestly shocked at Georgia's appeals court behavior; that was unexpected.
A Fulton County judge will allow a co-defendant of Donald Trump in the Georgia election subversion case to continue his effort to access thousands of 2020 ballots.
Floyd’s attorneys are pushing to access more than 500,000 ballots from Fulton County, claiming they intend to produce “evidence” that thousands of votes were improperly excluded from the final vote tally.
Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee asked Floyd’s attorneys on Tuesday to file additional information to the court in the coming weeks, including the scope of the expert review of the 2020 votes that they’re seeking. McAfee also said he plans to have another hearing within the next two months to discuss the next steps in Floyd’s attempt to access the ballots.

It was never about justice or the rule of law. It was all about getting Trump.
And July 11th, he'll be in jail.

It's not like they have a party platform or anything positive to run on.
