It's fascinating that Americans would vote for the current paradigm, knowing it's making everything worse.
That’s what really needs to be studied by people a lot smarter than us.
How and why is that happening?

Well the attorneys that push false narratives, hide facts etc. aren't innocent either. And sometimes the judge has to work with what they're given. And the claim 'what we knew at the time' can be completely valid defense against an erroneous outcome.
Sometimes, there's a multitude of corrupt people in a trial. The accuser or the defendant, the witness(s), the police, the attorneys, the judge. One bad link can affect innocent others in the justice chain. And it isn't just the prosecution either. The defense also has their share of lies and deceit.
It's a two headed devil. For sure, justice should be 'just' and void of bias of any sort. As well, all facts and information related to the crime should be available to both parties.
