I must have missed the important parts of the case. Trump either did, or conspired to alter the books, or make false entrys into his books. That is what is claimed here. The jury found him guilty. So who can explain what records he falisified? that part should be easy. It's in evidence. Jury conviced on it. Was it the payment to Cohen? The payment to the whore? The one's he didn't hide?

I have been trying to understand this, and to date, not ONE person has been able to explain it. Almost as if they are all really assholes and don't know anything other than OMB.

It's not complicated.
The indictment was not for the false entries (they were not false anyway - they were legal expenses unless accounting practices have now got a new entry in the ledger for 'paying off a whore')
The indictment was for a false book keeping entry to conceal a campaign finance violation - that the FEC already investigated and cleared as being OK.
In other words there is no book keeping issue or campaign finance violation anywhere in sight.

None of the above matters though and the actual words written in the indictment are completely irrelevant.
The strength of the case was not ever the driving force here.

You need to stop thinking about what is fair/just/right - those days are long gone.

Except I watched the trial carefully. I did not see the evidence for conviction. I disagree entirely with the NYC liberal far leftists that the evidence was there. Especially with the testimony of an admitted thief, fixer, and liar as the main witness.
