So if you and everyone else received, say, 200k from the government, what do you think that would do to our economy? Would everyone else suddenly be able to build new houses, drive Ferraris and go on international vacations for months at a time?

Honestly, in our #ed up greed-driven society, the price of EVERYTHING would go up exponentially and if you thought inflation was bad now....

I don't advocate for foreign aid. I'd rather see that funding funneled to infrastructure projects but sadly it's not how it works.

Give the money to foreign governments
Foreign governments send it back via payments to defense contractors
Defense contractors support the polititians that pushed for the funding
Rinse...repeat

It's a shell game. Poor Abdul in sand-ridden country du'jour isn't suddenly out buying Rolexes..
