-Biden say "No boots on the ground"
-Builds a pier for $500 million without Congressional approval.
-Pier gets attacked by Hamas, falls apart and drifts away. Troops watch from the beach.
Every single thing this regime does turns to sh!t.
It's a completely unmitigated clown show.
Every single time.

The easiest solution would be to stop creating conditions in Gaza that would required the aid pier in the first place.
Just a thought...
Excellent example of the American government creating the problem then offering a half ass'd solution to fix it.
To the people only laughing at the Biden administration over this:
You do realize this reflects badly on the whole country not just the Biden administration?
It's the American army corp of engineering that are incapable of building a simple pier. These are the guys who built the hoover damn. You all act as if the walking corpse that is Biden is out there swinging a hammer or something.
You laugh at Biden while the world laughs at you...

The pier was attacked by Hamas? I thought it said it was a storm that wrecked it? I'm interested to know what the truth is, did Hamas attack the pier and what troops sat on the beach and watched?

Just to drive my point home.
www.foxnews.com...
While the pier has been used to transfer roughly 569 metric tons of aid into Gaza, none of that aid had been delivered to Palestinians as of last week, the Pentagon confirmed.

What I really wonder is why they didn't send in one of the US Navy Expeditionary Transfer Docks like the USNS John Glenn which was put into service in 2014 at a cost of $1.6 billion TAXPAYER dollars, never commissioned by the USN, and then removed from service less than a year later in 2015, and put into drydock????
The US government is the most wasteful enterprise on this entire planet! It's just unimaginable how much money, OUR money, these politicians waste!! And, this is not a partisan statement; they ALL do it!
Mulberry harbours were two temporary portable harbours developed by the British Admiralty and War Office during the Second World War to facilitate the rapid offloading of cargo onto beaches during the Allied invasion of Normandy in June 1944. Designed in 1942 and then built in under a year in great secrecy, within hours of the Allies successfully creating beachheads following D-Day, sections of the two prefabricated harbours and old ships, to be sunk to create breakwaters, were being towed across the English Channel from southern England and placed in position off Omaha Beach (Mulberry "A") and Gold Beach (Mulberry "B").

GAZA, March 11 (Reuters) - A Hamas-linked website on Monday warned Palestinian individuals or groups against co-operating with Israel to provide security for aid convoys amid the five-month-old war in the Gaza Strip.
Those who did would be treated as collaborators and be handled with an iron fist, the Hamas Al-Majd security website said, quoting a security official in Palestinian militant forces.

Both are correct.
The Pier was attacked by Hamas previously AND now, after it has been up and running for about a week, it fell apart and sank.
Here is the thread talking about how it was attacked by Hamas - ATS Thread

If I am not mistaken, a storm and heavy seas were reported as being a reason the pier could not be used for unloading for a period of time, but I haven't seen any reports that the pier was significantly damaged by the storms.
However, the pier is built in a very exposed location which is certainly not the best place to build a pier.

The U.S. was forced to suspend the delivery of aid to its temporary "floating pier" on the coast of Gaza on Tuesday after rough weather caused the structure to break apart

Why are we sending billions of dollars to everyone but the tax paying American ? We're bailing out every other country but our own. Homeless Vets and just homeless people are taking over, billions spent to house and feed an out of control immigration crisis and the average American is barely getting by.
FJB and the Democrats.

humanitarian aid might seem like we're just giving away stuff for free but in reality its not free, governments accept debt in exchange so we make a return on those costs plus interest, its all profits for our government in the end.
