Vote Reform.

Vote early, vote often.

Despite being a massive lefty I'm genuinely considering it.

I don't understand the drama about Farage pointing out Sunak 'doesn't understand our culture' as it's clearly true - he's so rich and privilleged he's never had a working class friend and famously asked a homeless man if he worked in City Finanace.

The media and other parties have tried to present it as dog whistle racism but he's just stating facts and his race or imigration status doesn;t come into it - if Farage was that racist he wouldn't ave stayed around for the international and commonwealth D day events.

There is a Reform candidate who thinks the UK should have been neutral on Hitler during WW2 and wants all women to be denied medical treatment in the UK but Imagine he'l be given a quick talknig to and booted out of the party rather than allowed to remina as an elevctino candidate.

Turns out he has made an appology here:

A Reform UK candidate has apologised for claiming the country would be "far better" if it had "taken Hitler up on his offer of neutrality" instead of fighting the Nazis in World War Two.

Funny that I was watching a documentary on Prime the other day, there were a bunch of historians and whatnot on there who said the same thing.

That getting involved with Germany wasn't necessary because of the USSR and USA....That we could have stayed out of it all and just gone after the Japs in the far east. Economically it would have been better and they also argued that the empire would have lasted longer.

Morally I think their ideas were lacking but can't argue that winning the war cost us more than not fighting it.

The latest yougov / Sky news poll is out and it puts the Tories just 1 point above Reform UK , in the last week the Tories have dropped 1 point , Labour have dropped 3 points , Reform up 1 and the Lib Dems picked up 4 points putting them 2 points behind Reform.

Our latest exclusive voting intention poll from YouGov has just dropped, showing the Conservatives have fallen to 18% - down one point on last week.

The survey was carried out throughout Monday and also on Tuesday morning - ahead of their manifesto launch today.

And with Reform going up by one point this week to 17%, Nigel Farage's outfit are hot on their heels.

Labour is still racing ahead with a 20-point lead on 38%, but have lost three points over the past week.

"Events, my dear boy, events".

My old boss still calls me "Dear boy".

Which is frankly, irritating.

It's already dirty. I feel like I should have an all over, body size condom to go and vote in.

Got to say, I'm sorely tempted to vote Reform....even if its just to piss off all the wokerati and their ilk.

I blow hot and cold when it comes to Farage - he's very much a one-trick pony now that Brexit done....well, sort of done.
But its a massively big issue that he's pushing to the forefront and it needs addressing with the utmost urgency - people have simply had enough.

Some of Reforms other policies make my skin crawl, they're more Tory than The Tories....just like Farage.

But we desperately need to do something drastic and radical to address the unfettered immigration and the advance of the wokerati and their sycophants.

Me, too. It's like a "none of the above" vote.

Sort of.

I'll have to really pinch my nose when putting that X in The Reform Party box.....but hey, for the greater good and all that.

The Reform candidate in my constituency was born and bred here and by all accounts is a really nice guy who is genuinely well intentioned....I'm sure if he did get elected then after a year or so in that cesspit Westminster that'd change.

I can't bring myself to vote Labour, Tories, no way, Lib Dems, ditto, Independent, wasted vote and as for the Greens, just no.

I would consider voting for Reform but not with Nigel Farage at the helm.

I just could not bring myself to vote for the man.

The penny would drop and it just would not sit right in my tummy.

Not that Keir Starmer is a man of the people and he does sound like a demented Dalek, or that Labour will change much for the better..............

Guess you can put me down as another nose holding reform voter.
Don't really trust them to be honest, but it may send more of a message than a spoiled ballot will.

My thinking, too.

You can never trust Labour with the economy.

Major factors for voters will be the COVID parties and Truss's disaster as a PM, and Rishi at Normandy. Or, not at Normandy.

I'm really struggling the same with my thoughts for my vote next month. It's a choice/mixture of 'least worse option' or wasted vote in my constituency.

(1) Conservative - A career politician MP, backs the party every time over policy, even if a vote is known to be detrimental to the local area. A terrible constituency MP, more focussed on gaining promotion in parliamentary positions, than advocating for citizens fighting for important local issues.

(2) Liberal Dem's - This candidate WAS a fantastic local councillor for years, hard-working, passionate, dedicated to fighting injustice and improving local services. My only criticism is he would vote a return to the EU in a heartbeat, even though our constituency voted leave in 2016.

(3) Labour - PMSL!!! COMPLETELY WASTED VOTE IN MY CONSTITUENCY!!!

(4) Green's - See No.3 above, exactly the same lol

(5) Reform - Completely unknown quantity, apparently an "Investment manager, previously accountant", educationally a historian, 'personally' a Christian, but NOWHERE on any literature does it state where born/raised, or even if ever resided in the constituency before this election!

I really don't know what to do. We've only EVER had a conservative MP, or the occasional switch to Liberal/Lib Dem, so I want to vote Reform, but worry it'll be a wasted vote. I'm tempted to vote Lib-Dem, SOLELY because I know the candidate would be a fantastic local MP, based on previous councillor record, but I don't support the "return to Europe" stance.

I've got a few weeks to decide lol, but this has been THE most difficult election choice I've experienced in my life so far...I really don't know what to do!

Rishi was asked if he had to go without anything growing up.

He said Sky TV.

Poor wee lad.

Pathetic.

"You had TV? You were lucky. We used to dream of...." etc.

As I've said before, I'm conflicted about Farage.
I find a lot of his social and economic policies abhorrent and a damn sight more Tory than the Tories themselves propose.
But there's no doubting he gets topics onto the front page and people are beginning to feel more comfortable about openly expressing their disgust at the open door immigration that continues unabated and is ruining this country.
People are simply sick to death of it and if it isn't addressed as a matter of urgency there is a real danger the UK will lurch dramatically to the genuine far-right....a prospect that I know appalls both you and I.

And he seems determined to stop the onslaught of wokism that is afflicting this country and which again everyone I know is absolutely sick to bloody death of.

Both are MASSIVE vote winners.

Not that Keir Starmer is a man of the people and he does sound like a demented Dalek, or that Labour will change much for the better.............

Regardless of Starmer and how able he may or may not be Labour won't get a chance to make any real, significant change....at least not for the ordinary, everyday folk of this country.

There are some huge bills to pay and crises to deal with.
Generally speaking people are fickle and with the help of MSM etc they will soon forget that it was 14 years of Tory negligence, self-interest, mis-management and sheer bloody incompetence that got us in this #ty situation.

Still, when you look around the world I guess it could be a whole lot worse.

The current Tory MP - part of the shameful Red Wall collapse at the last election - is a typical smug, arrogant, smarmy twat who is a mate and personal favourite of Sunak.....that about says it all as far as I'm concerned.

The LibDems and Greens are a complete waste of vote here - and to be fair I wouldn't consider them even if they were viable candidates.

A new Labour MP is by far the most likely outcome....but despite being what is generally called a 'traditional, core Labour voter' I can't see myself voting for them.
I know nothing about the candidate and distrust Starmer and his wishy-washy populist politics and his lack of conviction about addressing immigration and wokism.

All the parties are pandering to special interest groups, minorities and elitist cliques whilst not giving one single # about ordinary British people.

Hence Reform being the 'least worst option'.

Hopefully that will be my rants for the day over with.

It's a sh@tshow Freeborn.

Same as always.

And at the end of the day a vote for the lesser of evils.

But yes, comparatively speaking, and given the fact that the Tories, bar a sheer miracle, will be given their walking papers, it's all good, or at least not nearly half as bad as a few other places around the globe.

Hopefully, some form of positive change is in the post.
