LOL! No kidding! Did that just occur to you right now!
That didn't occur to when you first heard that armed FBI agents went to Mar a Lago with a search warrant?

You want an established standard protocol to be amended for one person?
When that one person is a former president of the United States and the top political rival of the current president of the United States; it is only common sence to treat the situation differently than your standard operation. Why is that so hard for you to understand?
There wouldnât have been a raid if Trump complied and gave back the documents.
Again, a lot of what has happened to him seems clear to be politically motivated. But I just donât see how itâs weird that the FBI had standard procedures for a raid where they knew armed people would be.
Nothing happened, no one was shot, and Trump wasnât there.
I donât see how arguing that politicians should get special treatment under the law helps us citizens from the encroachment of rights they helped enact. Theyâre the ones who bolstered all the spying and enforcement laws. Theyâre the ones who cry about it when it gets used on them. And itâs typically the partisans who highlight these cases while ignoring these are the same politicians who made all this possible.

There is nothing standard about raiding a presidents house. They were undercover as well-hoping for a shootout.
The fact that weâre talking about it right now is the reason it shouldnât have been done, and isnât done by any other administration that isnât smoking crack.

Oh, is he above the law?
Long established standard protocols need to be amended for Trump?
No, they don't.

Who said they needed to be amended for Trump? đ
.
Donald Trump and some loyal allies, including Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert, are being called out for raising a major fuss about the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago in August 2022, turning a standard procedure into an alleged personal attack against the former president.
"I just came out of the Biden Witch Hunt Trial in Manhattan, the 'Icebox,' and was shown Reports that Crooked Joe Biden's DOJ, in their illegal and Unconstitutional Raid of Mar-a-Lago, AUTHORIZED THE FBI TO USE DEADLY (LETHAL) FORCE," Trump wrote on Truth Social on May 21.

You might be right that they possibly handled it differently if wasnât running.
But I have to imagine they wouldnât have raided if he just gave back the documents too. He was even public in the fact he was pushing back.
