It doesn't matter how much money we pour into Ukraine. They are running out of manpower to throw into the meat grinder. The only thing that would save Ukraine at this point is if NATO inserts troops into the fray. Then, we are all screwed. Putin has already said he considers sending F-16s into Ukraine is crossing the nuclear red line as they are capable of carrying nuclear weaponry.

My thoughts are that Ukraine will not be sacrificed by the west.

Russia doesn't seem to want to give up. This is their war.

It might seem that Ukraine would eventually succumb to Russia but I don't think the west will allow it.

It looks to me that Ukraine is going to be a place to develope and test military technologies. The west seems to be investing a lot of money in building and manufacturing weapons in Ukraine. Drones, droids, robo dogs, armored vehicles, you name it.

This could be the new line in the sand, and when Ukraine runs out of boys to send to war, other nations will deploy troops.
