How sure can we be DJT won't just sleep through one of these like he sleeps through court?

He seems to have a knack for falling asleep in highly stressful situations, where adrenaline would be high. Doctors are saying that's a sign of advancing dementia. How much worse will he be by September?

I am looking forward to these debates! I hope there is a MUTE button for each of them. If it's not your time to speak, your microphone is off.

Trump did not do too well the last time he debated Biden.

If he simply gives a repeat performance i should not expect a different result.

trump will never show up for a debate. He'll just whine and make up some lame excuse.

Sitting in a courtroom, listening to people drone on and on, is very different than being up on stage as one of the debaters. He was just fine in the 2020 debates, so I think he'll manage to stay awake.

The issue that Trump had, IMO, is that he kept talking over joe. But, he did it mostly because the host wouldn't ask joe any difficult questions. Trump had to ask them. Trump was the one who first brought up the laptop, inflation, the check from the wife of the mayor of moscow, the cages joe built, called out joe for saying he opposed fracking, etc. The pitiful host was probably instructed to not bring any of this up.

And wasn't it 4 years earlier that Megan Kelly hosted the debate on Fox after repeatedly trashing him on her show. I think right after that she left to go work for NBC.

As far as i can tell the issue is the fact that Trump is overly aggressive and interrupting.

That's not how normal people debate in good spirits.

Especially not a self-professed stable genius.

Hence it's apt to alienate some undecided voters.

I agree. His ego is definitely one of his faults. Maybe he'll do a better job of keeping a lid on it this time. Or maybe they'll actually implement the mic mute buttons biden asked for.

He calls a specific thing about a specific person and she tried to convince America that he said that about all women.

Meh, from what I remember it was the people that kept quite and waited their turn that got steam rolled by everyone else.

Remember when there was a Republican debate with like 15 people. Half of them played by the rules and got ignored.

If you got something to say you better speak up. Trump knows the game, that's why they want to cut him off.

Now if only he knew what ambidextrous actually meant he could use it in a coherent sentence.

What Trump knows is ""debatable"" to say the least.

I think implementing the mic mute buttons is a great idea if the candidates cannot follow the simple rules of debate and act like gentlemen as opposed to kids in a school hallway.

Remember, it's not a debate if you know what the questions are and have had time to prepare.



Pretty sure they won't leak the questions to Trump.
