I don’t really participate in a vast majority of popular social media.

It’s just sad to see things become just as hyperbolic here.

Someone can have a position that Israel is conducting themselves poorly without wanting to fire up the gas chambers. Just as someone could lean towards Israel without thinking the only solution is parking lot.

Jumping to genocide is just a variation of Moores Law.

That said, obviously the thread has the word in the subject heading. But it’s a bit different to accuse a government of such ambitions as an individual were having a conversation with.

I also challenged that notion with my first response. Egypt has enough problems on their hands, moving their capitol so they can be coup proof from their populace (way over budget and possibly causing their crazy inflation). They also administered Palestine before Israel, and have had bad luck with Palestinians in Egypt.

They have on a number of occasion said the red line is their border , and any sizable refugee movement across it. There’s no place out of Rafah, so Egypt is concerned if Israel does a full scale invasion the only place people will flee is to the Sinai.

In some ways it is good to see what Gaza has become coming to an end. As for how this is getting done and what kind of legacy it is going to leave, been a hot topic point of debate and disaster for some.

Hmmm. Did Egypt so easily forget the 6 day war?
Israel handed their Egyptians asses to them when Egypt and 3 other countries tried to "genocide" them...and secured most of this area that the Palestinian terrosits live and die in of their own accord.
. Now Isreal is protecting itself against terrorist Hamas and terrorist Palestinian Hamas supporters ...and Palestinian Islamic Jihad supporters or the other terrorist group in the area those known as Philistines squat on.

The only thing Israel has done "wrong" is not leveling the region. At this point there's two ways to get it done, the slow tedious maximum casualty way and the quick brutal minimum casualty way. It's their decision but the more they delay, the more blood on both sides of the conflict and the more blame they will receive for being weirdly reluctant to finish the fight. There's no reason to drag it out unless they are waiting for something.... 🤔
