The term "genocide" was coined by Polish-Jewish lawyer Raphael Lemkin in 1944, combining the Greek word "genos" (race or tribe) with the Latin word "cide" (to kill).

History is in the past RT and it is what it is.

But judging people and nations by the standards of yesteryear seldom bodes well in this day of age.

And you can expand upon that further.Even before all the atrocities that the commies did, the Russians still committed lots of genocide when they were an empire. The country of Russia itself exists because of imperialist expansion and genocide just as much as western countries do. So Russia can just STFU and take a seat babbling about other peoples genocide.
