Hello ATS!

It turns out that during his stay in Moscow, Tucker Carlson interviewed Russian philosopher Alexander Dugin. The video was posted on the social network X. Carlson also posted an interview with Dugin on his YouTube channel. In 9 hours, the interview collected almost 180,000 views and more than 3,000 comments. The interview is called "Klaus Schwab, Transgenderism, and AI | Russian Philosopher Aleksandr Dugin"

For an interview with Dugin, an American journalist wrote the following announcement: “His ideas are considered so dangerous that the Ukrainian government killed his daughter, and Amazon does not sell his books.”

Among other things, in an interview with an American journalist, Dugin expressed the idea that after the collapse of the USSR there were no ideologies left in the world except liberalism. Liberalism in the West has become totalitarian. And if earlier democracy was understood as the rule of the majority, now it turns out that minorities rule - this is exactly what is currently happening in Western countries.

Briefly put, liberalism first freed the individual from collective identity: they say, “I am the self-sufficient center of the world,” and now liberalism in the West “frees” a person from his connection with humanity: they say, “if I want, I will be a man/woman/animal/ robot."

But in Russia the picture is completely different. The basis of Russophobia in the West is that Russia defends traditional values that they are trying to destroy, Dugin explained. This is why the West hates Russia.

I was especially interested in the following thought from Dugin:

“Just recently, a year ago, Putin signed a decree on the political protection of traditional values. And this, I would say, was the starting point. But observers from the progressive camp in the West, I think, understood this from the very beginning of his rule. It is so! So this hatred is not just an accident or some kind of attitude. [It is not accidental.] So this is a metaphysical question.
If your main task and goal is to destroy traditional values, traditional family, traditional states, traditional relationships, traditional beliefs. And then someone with nuclear weapons, and not the smallest arsenal - which is important as an argument - begins to seriously defend the traditional values that you are going to abolish. So, I think they have reasons for this Russophobia and hatred of Putin. And this is not just an accident, not some irrational shift from Sovietophilia to Russophobia. There's something deeper here, I'll tell you. This is my guess."

The interview, in my opinion, simply and clearly explains the difference in civilizational approaches and goals between the West and Russia, as well as the difference in the mentalities of our societies. Whether we can overcome this difference and come together on the basis of human values is a fundamental metaphysical question.

Thank you.

“His ideas are considered so dangerous that the Ukrainian government killed his daughter, and Amazon does not sell his books.”

Sounds rather harsh if true.

Do you have any credible evidence to support the claim that the Ukrainian government was involved in the death of Alexander Dugin's daughter?

Also pot kettle black considering what Putin has done to his political opponents, Alexei Navalny for instance, and that's just for starters.

And there was no real "Russophobia" in the West until your man Mad Vlad decided to invade Ukraine.

They were not bothering their arse with you.

The only traditional values that Putin is interested in protecting are the ones that suit his war and agenda.

As always freedom to Ukraine and down with the Russian scum invaders.

Edit: Got a little confused there she was killed in 2022 not 2017.

Dugina was killed on 20 August 2022, when her car exploded on Mozhayskoye Highway in the settlement of Bolshiye Vyazyomy outside Moscow around 21:45 local time.

And by the looks of it the National Republican Army claimed responsibility for her death.

NRA is an underground group working inside Russia, dedicated to removing Putin from power.

After the release of the interview, Dugin drew attention to the fact that he talked with Tucker Carlson for much longer than is shown in the video recording.

“This is what we have today in the West. Red-brown liberalism. When illiberal communism and illiberal fascism no longer exist, liberalism itself becomes the source and main emulator of totalitarian prescriptions. By the way, we talked about this with Tucker Carlson outside of the interview, and he broke down several times turn on the recording again, as the conversation lasted longer and touched on many interesting topics,"
- Dugin wrote in his Telegram channel.

That's nice but it does not change the fact that he's a right-wing fanatic same as Tucker.

Nor does it change the fact you do not have any credible evidence to support the claim that the Ukrainian government was involved in the death of his daughter.

Have a nice day.

this brings us to the almost philosophical question: which group is more dangerous? right-wing nutjobs like tucker aka this dugin guy or the over-progressive woke? i'd actually be clearly in favor of the right wings, but i'm unsure since the universities of this world have been flooded with pseudo-activists from the left spectrum. on the long run folks like dugin are more dangerous i think. the west hates russia? is this so?

That would be prudent.

Hence the reason i would not hold my breath.

So basically he calls certain folk "non-humans"?

I seem to remember another bunch of very evil fascists labelling some folk "sub-humans"?

Ah, yes. The Nazis.

This guy is a Nazi in all but name. Probably even more extreme.

Quite why the OP apparently wants to promote such evil and twisted stuff I can't even fathom, nor do I really want to try.

Just look at the comments under any of my threads from my "English friends" to be 100% sure of this.

I don't hate Russia. I feel sorry for ordinary Russians. It's their leader that I dislike.

As for hating others. Look in a mirror?

I have lost count of the number of times you have promised myself and my country and the West with nuclear annihilation.

The thing is RT you and Putin don't constitute the totality of the Russian people.

And the fact that you choose to call us Nazis, racists, and keep threatening us with nuclear annihilation every time you get butthurt doesn't help matters with regards way we choose to respond in kind.

I don't hate Russia or you for that matter, i don't know you.

But I'm not overly fond of Putin's nefarious diabolical shenanigans or the fact that he's leading your nation down a path of no return.

Do you share your "Philosopher" friend's views on calling for genocide of Ukrainians and about "non-humans"?

Human values? Like, genocide? Perhaps "non-human" folk don't count?

Sorry, I liked Trucker until he showed his true color (red). He was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and has no idea of how working people think and view the world. Tucker is in show business at any cost and has now squandered his relationship with the American public with no chance of recovery.
