What do you make of his statement?

According to him, government keeping secrets or not telling the truth is an absurd idea especially in this matter. I can't agree with him because extraterrestrial life and possible alien visitation is a matter of national security.

We do have very good evidence of UFOs, that doesn't necessarily mean these objects/vehicles are alien in origin.In fact most of these objects are man made but can we be sure all of these objects are designed and produced here? There are several encounters with aerial phenomena that defy explanation. The UFO Phenomenon is not something new but has been recorded throughout human history.

Where are all the first-hand accounts, whistle-blowers, with actual proof of alien technology?

Turn up to the hearings with that sort of witness and material please.

Else its simply hearsay and hyperbole as unfortunate as the case may be.

Due respect to Bill Diamond he isn't in a position to know so his statement is opinion , if Presidents aren't routinely briefed on the subject why would the chief of an organisation that isn't in the loop be told.

You may have come across real footage from the US Navy Pilots a few years ago but there are many more encounters that have been recorded (photos and videos). The evidence for the existence of UFOs is overwhelming. It doesn't mean these are alien vehicles but it's a possibility for some of them.

His statement screams of conflict of interest. Get him out.

There is no doubt about the fact that unidentified objects have been spotted in the sky throughout recorded history.

He works for an institution called 'Search for extraterrestrial intelligence'.

He believes that search is far from over because if it is his funding might take a serious hit or be redirected altogether in my opinion.

That's as good a motive as any.

We are way past the "if" stage and slowly progressing onto the "what" stage.

Right now the question is what has our governments been hiding all along and what have they been doing behind our backs wrt advanced tech?

Is part of the next world War their idea of bringing us out of the age of oil and into the age of sustainable, clean energy?

Look at all the simultaneous discoveries being made right now in that regard.

I agree. None of this is proof of alien visitation but at least we have good evidence of unidentified objects in our skies sometimes of unknown origin.

Going a few decades back and people who claimed they have seen UFOs were ridiculed and dismissed straight away. The situation has changed dramatically since then.

We have established (I believe) there are indeed UFOs in our skies. One of them to be of alien origin and the entire framework changes forever.

Well if anything will bring about the paradigm shift humanity requires the discovery of sentient alien life may well be the ticket.

The thing is some of us are going to want to worship them as gods, others are going to wonder what they taste like, and quite a few are going want to bump and grind.

If i was an alien i would avoid humanity like the clap.

Is it always our own, hidden by the military?

There is good evidence the technology is out there in the form of UFOs that have great capabilities.

If we had this technology we would have used it at some point. But we aren't using it if it's our own.

That is one outright lie after another. I suppose the lying comes with the job. Realistically, SETI, one of Sagan's glory holes, was a setup from the beginning to move along the public's ability to eventually face the truth about UFOs and the pecking order of the universe.

You could claim that SETI was not an official government program. That it was a "thinking man's" program aimed at those of above average intelligence and interests, lay persons and various other scientists alike. But it followed the official policy of not appearing to take the topic of the actual presence of UFOs in our midst seriously but ignored those in-your-face facts for far less concrete discussions and even harmless ventures to explore the unknown. Basically, SETI was a PR program for the masses.

True.

But they also got radar and other data tracking these things and they move in ways and faster than any craft we currently know.

It’s not just photos and videos anymore. They tracked them with many other systems.

That said your still right we can’t prove it’s alien… could be ours or China. Or someone/something else.

All I can say is that there is very little chance SETI will find signs of extraterrestrial life. The project was set up to justify the careers of some scientists. If people think you can find life this way they are very naive.

If you were to cut their funding or threaten to stop the flow of money and then the same scientists will start the lyrics about how possible alien life is and the possibility it could have visited us.

That is a very odd way to finish such a statement. Why even add this if he never has any direct evidence.

With the double speak going on, sounds more like he has had direct evidence, but had to give it up with the state of national security around this topic. Being in charge of SETI, perhaps under some kind of NDA or other threat to not be candid about what he knows. If he wants to keep his job and freedom, he has to lie about it
