that's debatable. Any religion that worships one God, the creator of all, likely worships the same "creator of all" regardless of what name he/she is given. It's important to understand other religions to better understand your own.

That's a more abstract argument when applying the comparison to non-Abrahamic, monotheistic religions.

My point was much more direct. The three Abrahamic religions--Christianity, Judaism and Islam, all worship the same God, and not just in the abstract sense of it might be the same God. It IS the same God and scholars of each religion acknowledge it is the same God, even if some individuals who practice those religions aren't aware of it or are in denial about it.

They differ in what they think that God is like and what he wants, and in their beliefs about Jesus as I already mentioned, and in a number of other ways.

Their actions make it very clear who they're keeping an eye on. They're really not some big super intelligent shadow entity. They're partisan hacks who have no issue going after people who think differently than they do. They demonstrate this with their actions.

it's a wildly difficult topic to get a handle on. Totally agree. But based on the monotheistic religions, that believe in an almighty creator, it stands to reason there would only be one, Single creator of all that is, was, and will be. At least in the religious aspect.

I think Muslims pray to the same deity Christians do, they just have different ideas of the teachings they subscribe to, as to the point you were making.

Yeah ... Christians worship Him as GOD. Jews and Muslims do not.
Therefore ... they do not have the same God.

If someone worships Jesus as God, and another person doesn't,

All three root back to Abraham. His first born son was Ismael who Islam tracks their roots back to. All three spiritual texts acknowledge this.

The difference with Christianity is they recognize the coming of the Messiah. Judaism is still waiting while Islam doesn’t really mention such a prediction or acknowledgement of happening (though they view Jesus as a prophet).

We can split hairs, but all three have different claims to the same God with different interpretations on how that is structured.

Not believing Jesus is God doesn't mean you don't believe in the same God.

I guess Fridays in general are pretty big in Islam?

I just looked and the "response" to the US killing Soleimani came on a Wednesday, so I guess they're ALL about launching strikes on Fridays, but I keep hearing it.

The Biden administration has released frozen Iran assets, enriching them.

TBA has recently backed away from supporting Israel.

Iran knows that Biden may not be in office a year from now

as mentioned, an unknown number of Iranian men have entered the USA illegally.

very possibly Teheran is doing this now cuz timing.

Eid al-Fitr (3 day festival after Ramadan) ends on Friday.

The worse it looks in the polls for Biden, the more likely our enemies start making moves now while the going is good.

China reportedly didn't want to move on Taiwan until 2027 or even the 2030s, but sometimes you gotta take opportunities when they present themselves. I doubt they'll have another chance this good for quite a while.

Iran likely has similar thinking.
