Where does it say it is paying anything to Trump's company?

Fact's matter, but not when you ignore them like you do.

Still waiting to hear how him endorsing a bible is a scam? I have yet to get an answer from anyone yet, probably because they have no answer as I assume you won't either.

Nobody has been able to tell me why this is such a problem for you guys?

It is a man endorsing bibles to sell, what is so wrong with it?

Oh wait, it's that orange man that makes it all bad isn't it?

I think anyone trying to hawk 60 dollar bibles is bad taste. Particularly someone running for office.

Why does 'orange mang' a pass from 'you guys' on everything?

A businessman ENDORSING a very nice Bible for a close personal friend, whether he's running for office or not. What's the issue?

Why does "orange mang" existing evoke such visceral reactions from "you guys"?

I have already answered.

I think promoting/selling/endorsing* 60 dollar bibles is bad taste for anyone running for office. Possibly anyone full stop.

I think there plenty of better reasons to dislike Trump if that helps.

* whatever you think this is.

Oh, so then your issue is any individuals freedom of religion. Got it. Thanks for that clarification.

All encompassing OMB, unsurprising and expected.

*I don't think this is anything but what it is. Sorry if you have issues with objective reality also.

I said nothing about freedom of religion so slightly ironic you are saying I have an issue with reality.

Please try replying to things I actually said.

The money goes to Lee Greenwood, the seller, but I can see your confusion.

You still think endorsement and selling are the same thing...quite sad really

Ring a bell? Nobody should promote/sell/endorse a Bible according to you. Sure sounds like you have an issue regarding freedom of religion.

I believe in objective reality.

As I said ...
People want a bible ... they pay for a bible ... they get a bible.
People can spend their money any way they want to.

There are people out there who will buy comic books at $4.00.
They will pay $20 for the same comic if it's signed by Stan Lee.
The signature makes it a collectors item for the person.

A baseball signed by Barack Obama is valued at $1500.

It's probably the same way with these bibles.
They were worth $40, but with Trump endorsing them they become worth $60.
A collectors thing.

You quoted me saying 60 dollars then immediately dropped that part when trying to justify your claim.

Funny that.

People can promote THE bible if they want. That is freedom of religion.

If you are promoting a specific bible at 60 dollars then you might just have missed the whole message of the bible.

Indeed, quite sad that following the money is not an option when it comes to this guy. Why does a billionaire need to ask ordinary citizens for donations of $5, $10 or $50 or need $10 licensing fees from the Bible sales? Realize you are being scammed people.

Instead, it says, “GodBlessTheUSABible.com uses Donald J. Trump’s name, likeness and image under paid license from CIC Ventures LLC, which license may be terminated or revoked according to its terms.”

apnews.com...

Trump himself stated he is partnered with this company. Does Trump do anything for free? You make me laugh.

Getting paid for a likeness is not selling bibles and making money, you really need to learn how to make sense of things. But, it also does not say who is getting paid for his likeness.

Nowhere in your link is there a quote from Trump saying "I partner with this company". Again, he endorses said company and bible, far from selling or partnering with.

My post said 60 dollar bibles.

You then said I was saying people shouldnt promote the bible, no mention of 60 dollars.

That is in your post.

I also didn't edit out the 'possibly anyone' part.

You were saying something about reality?

How are they being scammed? They are getting what they want.

I think people paying $1500 for a baseball signed by Obama are crazy.

But they too are getting what they want. No scam.

He is not receiving money from sales, he is being paid to use his likeness for endorsement. Two completely different things if you had higher brain capacity than a wet rock.

You really are one of the dimmest people here when it comes to being shown the light of how wrong you are
