Former/Next President Donald Trump posts $175 million bond, which will keep evil NY Attorney General Letitia James from seizing his family properties and assets. Saving thousands of jobs.

Source: www.usatoday.com...

Evil Judge Arthur Engoron, the one-man jury/judge/executioner and co-conspirator with Letitia James, slapped a $554 million judgement on Donald Trump, because he doesn't like (or is jealous of) Trump and his family, and Letitia James ran for NYAG on the promise of "taking down the Trump empire" (due to hate, jealousy, etc.) if she won...which she did, 2 years ago.

If Donald Trump wins his appeal, I hope James and Engoron are sued to the maximum...or worse!

Death by slow torture would practically be needed just to restore faith in the judicial system after what they have done.

It would have to be a secret execution, because most Americans don't understand how serious TREASON is.

Yesterday, Trump's bond was rejected because the company covering it failed to provide their financial statements. Today, they corrected the error but now DA James is questioning the surety of the bond it does not appear the company has enough cash on hand to actually cover the bond.

I heard that. There are many surety bond insurance companies. All that's needed is to find one that has $1.75 billion in cash reserves...10% of the $175 million Trump paid. (Another DUMB New York rule.)

Letitita knows her goose (and Engoron's goose) is cooked, so might as well go for broke...grasp at straws....whatever, while she can.

James is claiming that Weisselberg and Trump withheld evidence during the case and she is petitioning the court to have the independent monitor investigate.

James is a clown. First you all were happy because he would lose Trump Tower. No posting a bond is not enough. Withheld evidence....LOL....they made the ruling before the trial. They did not file anything incorrectly. She DEMANDED paperwork to justify the bond.

A f'n joke.

In a court filing on Thursday, Ms. James noted that Knight was not registered to issue appeal bonds in New York, and so she demanded that the company or Mr. Trump’s lawyers file paperwork to “justify” the bond within 10 days. Ms. James is seeking to clarify whether Knight, which had never posted a similar court bond before aiding Mr. Trump, is financially capable of fulfilling its obligation to pay the $175 million if Mr. Trump defaults.

Even if Knight lacks the funds itself, the company should be able to tap the collateral Mr. Trump pledged. In a statement on Thursday, a lawyer for Mr. Trump, Christopher M. Kise, slammed Ms. James, calling her case a “baseless and vindictive political crusade” and her objections to the bond an effort “to stir up some equally baseless public quarrel in a desperate effort to regain relevance.”

Weisselberg gets 5 months for perjury.

It's also looking like Trump's bond won't be accepted as the insurance company is not guaranteeing they will pay if Trump loses his appeal, which is the whole point of a bond.

The Bond is valid. A loss will make it possible to confiscate property, but only after due process is done. 😃

James still thinks The U.S. is a grab-all court system.

If the insurance company doesn't have the money to guarantee the bond then it is not valid. That's before we even get into the question of whether or not the insurance company Trump got is even licensed in New York.

Will take years to resolve. Trump family will continue to get richer, year after year.

A life lesson for you, little one...

As with any boss, It depends on who you talk to.

Everyone has a different experience with a given individual.

And how many careers have been destroyed of those who were loyal to Trump?

Let’s count the “Trump Thumps”.

Knight Specialty filed their attempt to justify their Trump bond late last night and it's certainly something. While their actual argument isn't supported by the law, the more interesting part is the signature page from the account security agreement. The date is wrong and it references Federal Insurance Company, not Knight Specialty.

Federal Insurance Company is who issued the bond in the E. Jean Carroll case. In other words, it would appear this document was never actually signed and they just copied the signature page from the E. Jean Carroll document. If that's the case, then this document isn't valid.

With all the shadiness going on, I can't see how this bond makes it past the court hearing next week.

Why is it something? Post a link. Show us the "courts" that ruled it is shady. I would bet it is just people like this.....

Former FBI General Counsel Andrew Weissmann suggested there was something "fishy" about the arrangement between Trump and KSIC to secure the bond.

And this guy....

On June 19, 2017, Weissmann joined Special Counsel Mueller's team to investigate Russian interference in the 2016 United States elections

Please....

If it's on the up-and-up why does it have the signature page from the E. Jean bond agreement?

Where is the proof? All you have is a 'report'. Link?

A few weeks ago it was they were not allowed to do business in NY. The money is there. It is secured and they still are trying to refuse because they want to take a property.

Here is my link...

James objected to the $175 million bond Trump posted, arguing in court documents on April 4 that the surety for the bond, Knight Specialty Insurance Company, was not admitted to practice in New York. On April 15, KSIC and Trump filed a large number of documents to show that Knight had the financial backing to issue the bond, and that Trump had fully supported the bond with cash. Their joint statement, filed to Judge Arthur Engoron on Monday, said KSIC's $175 million bond was collateralized by the $175,304,075.95 Trump had placed in a Charles Schwab bank account and which was specifically pledged to KSIC$175,304,075.95 Trump had placed in a Charles Schwab bank account and which was specifically pledged to KSIC.

What took them so long to state: "It's backed by cash"?

In a secure account designated to covering this bond?

By a single report.

How long was it supposed to take?
