Seriously, there's what? 350 million people in America and the absolute best you can do is a ##ssy grabbing idiot and a senile one?

I’ve been trying to tell people for ages it’s setup to be this way. But nobody listens, people just pick a side and support them no matter what, because it’s “their” team.

Meanwhile TPTB have total control over both teams so they always win.

The bits with the Magna Carta and Gap handbook were imaginative. But for the most part it was the usual late night anti-Trump rhetoric that the other "comedians" do. Trump is going to be a dictator and kill his political opponents, etc. All the while ignoring how Biden is executive ordering the 2nd Amendment out of existence, and weaponizing the DOJ against his political opponents.

Not exactly "fair and balanced" comedy, but who says comedy needs to be? After all, who needs a reason to laugh more than Biden voters as they figure out how much gas they can afford while driving their car to the grocery store?

I say baloney. playing the innocent victim card here is as thin as the skin of a balloon. It's not that he is all we have right now, it's EXACTLY WHO YOU HAVE CHOSEN to be the spokesman for the conservative position. It's heartening to think that you believe that the Democrat Party is honest enough to stand up to a dictator when they themselves are in such disarray that all they have to offer is the fractionalized resistance they have now? Not sure if they did, over here it was started by Screaming Lord Such and they put a candidate up at most big bye elections to draw people's attention to the stupidity of voting for the main parties and expecting things to get better.

A successful liberty embracing Trump is something I am all for. Comedy is inherently prone to hyperbole, so I'm not parroting Jon as gospel here, but in the root of the riffing I find plausibility. Which I'll I get to in an upcoming response.

Always liked his version of The Daily Show. What I didn't show, was the follow-up segment where he interviewed a Harvard person. Which is where the commentary trended too far left for me. Which I why I couldn't watch the Trevor Noah version.

Hyperbole was mentioned. The left-trending hyperbole, but I think the chaos and lawlessness is hyperbole as well.

Agreed that Joe's border is ridiculous. It's so badly managed and exploited by everyone in the world, it is as easy to paint it as chaos as it is to paint Trump as an aspiring dictator.

Which I think has a little observable validity of taking place. The RNC purge, the firing of everyone not in his camp, distrubs the everloving sh*t out of me. That's getting kinda Putin for my taste. It's not the Grand Old Party, it's the Grand Old Order of Trump Sychophancy - to save America.

Like Liz Cheney warns of a dictatorship and then gets cheered out of the party in what I have to think is objectively seen as a quasi-facsist purge of dissenters being applauded.

No sane person actually advocates shooting shoplifters without due process. Who shoots a person trying to run out of CVS?

A business owner has local jurisdiction. And most local or state jurisdictions allow for lethal defence of property. There is a caveat though. Imminent threat of harm beyond just the threat of product loss usually needs to be present. All they have to do is threaten you with bodily harm in many places.

You can't do it if they try to run out with clothing, but if they get stopped by security and they fight and get threatening, stand your ground laws can apply.

It would be a detourant, but I'm not convinced invoking stand your ground privilege is an appropriate method of loss prevention, as much as people would like it to be.

I also refuse to see the entire DoJ as weaponized against The GOP, some just really want Trump to stand to the rule of law. For others I think their objectivist view sees through the BS like the many rational conservative judges that ruled against him, and I refuse to accept ALL have abdicated their duties to uphold the constitution.

The FBI has it out for him and it's obvious. Old money, new money, all they smell is a rat with a lifetime of skirting the lines of legality.



They have the same desire as the "antagonist" agent, only unlike the one in the clip, they are growing angry they can't make him Grenada.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion! If the Democrats were capable of standing up to a dictator Biden would have been removed long ago. I don't recall any other POTUS deliberately going against a SCOTUS ruling, or doing so much in such a short time to destroy the American way of life for the working class.

Gottcha! Sorry for by befuddled confusion and poorly worded thought process.

In order to have a dictatorship, DC has to be complicit. Trump was not allowed to become a dictator, yet Biden has is the point as I see it.

Without the swamp, Biden could never have gotten away with dragging the country down as far as he has. Because of the swamp, Trump was not allowed to enact any cleanup measures, lest he become a dictator.

I'll try to make more sense going forward; no promises, though.
