Seriously, there's what? 350 million people in America and the absolute best you can do is a ##ssy grabbing idiot and a senile one?

I’ve been trying to tell people for ages it’s setup to be this way. But nobody listens, people just pick a side and support them no matter what, because it’s “their” team.

Meanwhile TPTB have total control over both teams so they always win.

Meh. I give it a C.

The bits with the Magna Carta and Gap handbook were imaginative. But for the most part it was the usual late night anti-Trump rhetoric that the other "comedians" do. Trump is going to be a dictator and kill his political opponents, etc. All the while ignoring how Biden is executive ordering the 2nd Amendment out of existence, and weaponizing the DOJ against his political opponents.

Not exactly "fair and balanced" comedy, but who says comedy needs to be? After all, who needs a reason to laugh more than Biden voters as they figure out how much gas they can afford while driving their car to the grocery store?

It has been said that

Sure it would be nice if we had someone other than Trump, but he's who we have right now.

I say baloney. playing the innocent victim card here is as thin as the skin of a balloon. It's not that he is all we have right now, it's EXACTLY WHO YOU HAVE CHOSEN to be the spokesman for the conservative position. A wild man who has been chosen by self proclaimed ''American Patriots'' to keep this country for themselves alone. A man who is supported by right-wing Nazis, by right-wing religious cults and right-wing white supremacist groups.

Can we be honest with ourselves when we support a man who says that he wants to be dictator for one day and then believe that he will be satisfied with just one day? That is a fools bet, but I guess that it is and will be not our fault.

I'll never understand the fear of some who seem to think Trump will be a dictator.

Oh, you will or maybe not. What will it take for you to believe.

''It shows a total lack of understandin on the US political system and the checks and balances against such a thing happening-unless both parties allow it, like what we're seeing now.''

Will it take a handful of videos of ''patriotic'' Trump fans to promote the idea for all to see? Might it take the complete overhaul of one of those two Parties that you mention and turning it into a Trumpian suckfest? It's heartening to think that you believe that the Democrat Party is honest enough to stand up to a dictator when they themselves are in such disarray that all they have to offer is the fractionalized resistance they have now? I applaud your hopes here.

Oh, I forgot, I was going to say I agree about the Joewit proselytizing. Spot on.

Not sure if they did, over here it was started by Screaming Lord Such and they put a candidate up at most big bye elections to draw people's attention to the stupidity of voting for the main parties and expecting things to get better.

Yes, I noticed a few vids while looking for the python bit. Watched two and got the gist. We over here have had a few of this nature but not so long standing and certainly not with that, how should I put this, British Flair.

I'm surprised.

Like Jon Stewart, I will lead with my thoughts establishing I dont like the current one either. Start with the qualifier I also maintain Joe Biden is the most Mr. Potatohead President ever. I see he has found Amphetamine Salt helps him speak with less mumbling incoherence though.

Okay, now to the responses.

a reply to: SprocketUK

No, there's no better choices. We only have two politicians in America, all others serve those two and are not fit to be a third option.

a reply to: network dude

A successful liberty embracing Trump is something I am all for. Comedy is inherently prone to hyperbole, so I'm not parroting Jon as gospel here, but in the root of the riffing I find plausibility. Which I'll I get to in an upcoming response.

a reply to: SchrodingersRat

Always liked his version of The Daily Show. What I didn't show, was the follow-up segment where he interviewed a Harvard person. Which is where the commentary trended too far left for me. Which I why I couldn't watch the Trevor Noah version.

a reply to: watchitburn

Hyperbole was mentioned. The left-trending hyperbole, but I think the chaos and lawlessness is hyperbole as well.

Agreed that Joe's border is ridiculous. It's so badly managed and exploited by everyone in the world, it is as easy to paint it as chaos as it is to paint Trump as an aspiring dictator.

Which I think has a little observable validity of taking place. The RNC purge, the firing of everyone not in his camp, distrubs the everloving sh*t out of me. That's getting kinda Putin for my taste. It's not the Grand Old Party, it's the Grand Old Order of Trump Sychophancy - to save America.

Like Liz Cheney warns of a dictatorship and then gets cheered out of the party in what I have to think is objectively seen as a quasi-facsist purge of dissenters being applauded.

a reply to: TzarChasm

He has a left lean on some issues like I do though. It tries to stay in the middle, but can't help using it as a springboard.

a reply to: crayzeed

He's riffing. Though that's one of those things Trump says where I can't tell if he's serious or doing the deliberate over the top thing again. I hope the latter to make a point.

No sane person actually advocates shooting shoplifters without due process. Who shoots a person trying to run out of CVS?

A business owner has local jurisdiction. And most local or state jurisdictions allow for lethal defence of property. There is a caveat though. Imminent threat of harm beyond just the threat of product loss usually needs to be present. All they have to do is threaten you with bodily harm in many places.

You can't do it if they try to run out with clothing, but if they get stopped by security and they fight and get threatening, stand your ground laws can apply.

It would be a detourant, but I'm not convinced invoking stand your ground privilege is an appropriate method of loss prevention, as much as people would like it to be.

a reply to: ColeYounger2

You mean 'insurrectionists'? Joe's doing a really bad job of trying to make a negative example of them, in fact, he made them martyrs.

I also refuse to see the entire DoJ as weaponized against The GOP, some just really want Trump to stand to the rule of law. For others I think their objectivist view sees through the BS like the many rational conservative judges that ruled against him, and I refuse to accept ALL have abdicated their duties to uphold the constitution.

The FBI has it out for him and it's obvious. Old money, new money, all they smell is a rat with a lifetime of skirting the lines of legality.

They have the same desire as the "antagonist" agent, only unlike the one in the clip, they are growing angry they can't make him Grenada.

Not sure how you came to that conclusion!
If the Democrats were capable of standing up to a dictator Biden would have been removed long ago. I don't recall any other POTUS deliberately going against a SCOTUS ruling, or doing so much in such a short time to destroy the American way of life for the working class.

You must have missed my point Nug. You said that Trump could not become a dictator because two political parties stand in the way of that. Right, you said that, right? I then pointed out that one of those two parties has already knuckled down to trump and become the party of Trump? Right? Didn't I say that? I then pointed to the Democrats and said that they are so weak and fragmented that they could NOT stand up to him being a dictator should he want to be. Did you miss that as it sounds as if you did from your reply.

So you have to ask yourself, do you want to let the current chaos, lawlessness, and actual authoritarian madness to continue. Do think they would tone down their drive into communism?

Or do you want order and a return to policies that made things better for every American by every available metric?

You're wasting your time trying to get people who are blind to see the truth.

None so blind as those who refuse to see also. All we can do is point them to the facts and let their own welfare wake them up. Their own welfare IS AT STAKE and so are all of us on the Earth because the truth is too fantastic in this time of outright lies from the MS DNC media.

You need to lay off the CNN.

Biden eulogized a KKK grand master, so save that BS for your leftist midwit friends. I don't care about your race baiting nonsense. It doesn't work anymore.

We've already had 4 years of a Trump presidency and everything was objectively better. He's not perfect, but nobody is.

What we have now is the irrefutable evidence that democrat policies are destructive to western civilization.
Rampant crime and drug overdoses, record suicides by young people, destruction of small businesses, fueling wars around the world, massive illegal immigration.

The American people see it.

And they are tired of the commie BS.

You don't think a young woman getting murdered by an illegal alien, that was met at the border and allowed in anyway, arrested twice and released in 2 different states before murdering the girl isn't chaos?

Liz Cheney has a personal grudge against Trump because he called out her dad's warmongering in Iraq. She was also caught hiding evidence during the J6 congress clown show and fabricating the "Trump attacked his limo driver" nonsense.

Anyone so woefully uninformed about these things is concerning.

Gottcha! Sorry for by befuddled confusion and poorly worded thought process.

In order to have a dictatorship, DC has to be complicit. Trump was not allowed to become a dictator, yet Biden has is the point as I see it.

Without the swamp, Biden could never have gotten away with dragging the country down as far as he has. Because of the swamp, Trump was not allowed to enact any cleanup measures, lest he become a dictator.

I'll try to make more sense going forward; no promises, though.
