Seriously, there's what? 350 million people in America and the absolute best you can do is a ##ssy grabbing idiot and a senile one?
Sure it would be nice if we had someone other than Trump, but he's who we have right now.
I'll never understand the fear of some who seem to think Trump will be a dictator.

I'm surprised.
Like Jon Stewart, I will lead with my thoughts establishing I dont like the current one either. Start with the qualifier I also maintain Joe Biden is the most Mr. Potatohead President ever. I see he has found Amphetamine Salt helps him speak with less mumbling incoherence though.
Okay, now to the responses.

No, there's no better choices. We only have two politicians in America, all others serve those two and are not fit to be third option.

A successful Trump is something I am all for. Comedy is inherently prone to hyperbole, so I'm not parroting Jon as gospel here, but in the root of the riffing I find plausibility. Which I'll I get to in an upcoming response.

Always liked his version of The Daily Show. What I didn't show, was the follow-up segment where he interviewed a Harvard person. Which is where the commentary trended too far left for me. Which I why I couldn't watch the Trevor Noah version.

Hyperbole was mentioned. The left-trending hyperbole, but I think the chaos and lawlessness is hyperbole as well.
Agreed that Joe's border is ridiculous. It's so badly managed and exploited by everyone in the world, it is as easy to paint it as chaos as it is to paint Trump as an aspiring dictator.
Which I think has a little observable validity of taking place. The RNC purge, the firing of everyone not in his camp, distrubs the everloving sh*t out of me. That's getting kinda Putin for my taste. It's not the Grand Old Party, it's the Grand Old Order of Trump Sychophancy - to save America.
Like Liz Cheney warns of a dictatorship and then gets cheered out of the party in what I have to think is objectively a quasi-facsist purge of dissenters.

He has a left lean on some issues like I do though. It tries to stay in the middle, but can't help using it as a springboard.

He's riffing. Though that's one of those things Trump says where I can't tell if he's serious or doing the deliberate over the top thing again.
No sane person advocates shooting shoplifters without due process. Who shoots a person trying to run out of CVS?
A small business owner has local jurisdiction. And most local or state jurisdictions allow for lethal defence of property. There is a caveat though. Imminent threat of harm beyond just the threat of product loss.
You can't do it if they try to run out with clothing, but if they get stopped by security and they fight and get threatening, stand your ground laws apply.
It would be a detourant, but I'm not convinced invoking stand your ground privilege is an appropriate method of loss prevention, as much as people would like it to be.

You mean insurrectionists. Joe's doing a really bad job of trying to make a negative example of them, in fact, he made them martyrs.
I also refuse to see the entire DoJ as weaponized against The GOP, some just really don't like Trump. Because their objectivist view sees through the BS like the many rational conservative judges, I refuse to accept ALL have abdicated their duties to uphold the constitution.
The FBI has it out for him and it's obvious. Old money, new money, all they smell is a rat with a lifetime of skirting the lines of legality.
They have the same desire as the "antagonist" agent, only unlike the one in the clip, they are growing angry they can't make him Grenada.

Thank you, Watchtower.

I grade it slightly better, but what fun is living in a country where everyone grades it the same.
It's heartening to think that you believe that the Democrat Party is honest enough to stand up to a dictator

So you have to ask yourself, do you want to let the current chaos, lawlessness, and actual authoritarian madness to continue. Do think they would tone down their drive into communism?
Or do you want order and a return to policies that made things better for every American by every available metric?
You're wasting your time trying to get people who are blind to see the truth.

You must have missed my point Nug. You said that Trump could not become a dictator because two political parties stand in the way of that. Right, you said that, right? I then pointed out that one of those two parties has already knuckled down to trump and become the party of Trump? Right? Didn't I say that? I then pointed to the Democrats and said that they are so weak and fragmented that they could NOT stand up to him being a dictator should he want to be. Did you miss that as it sounds as if you did from your reply.
