More importantly to be mindful of: Biden's campaign manager has responded to the news by saying...Oh well, we don't care about this decision (!?) since we are planning on beating Trump in the Ballot box anyway and since Biden announced that he would re-run in 2024 "we have been working to build an infrastructure and apparatus to do so."

Sounds a bit like they are planning to steal another election to me.

edit: but it could just be my tinfoil hat speaking

Victory is the SCOTUS passing the buck to Congress. There you have it from the pinnacle of responsibility in the Free World.

Gloat away.

The next delay of the inevitable is cuz Willis and Wade can’t keep their flies up.

This is not passing the buck.

This is saying the states have no right to do what they did. The House can do it. If they want it done.

It really is kind of passing the buck. But anyone who has been following the Court already knew how they were going to rule. If you're shocked, you aren't paying attention.

I'm very satisfied with the ruling. Can you imagine the whining that Trump and his supporters would have done had they lost this case. I'm so tired of their whining already. Let the voters decide in November. That's what democracy is. Of course, I really don't know if Republicans believe in democracy anymore, except when it suits them.

I too would have kept him on the ballet. It was the correct decision.

Trump says of the verdict...."This will bring us together as a nation....

Democrats say of the verdict..."We will pass legislation to circumvent the government process...."

Sounds to me like an INSURRECTION

I have to laugh when the states with soros backed judges make interpretations of the law to fulfill their fantasies.

Anybody with a brain knew how the supreme court was going to act.

Congress is the only one with power to enforce the constitution, no the wannabe states and circuit courts.

win, win.,

Quite honestly, I do not think this decision went far enough.

I think the remaining question needs to be addressed:

How could the Colorado Court kick Trump off the ballot when he wasn't convicted in a criminal trial?
The whole "guilty until proven innocent" thing.

Due Process may be Implied. I think even the 3 Liberals said that in their joint opinion.

Their opinion starts on page 15 I think....

Trump vs Anderson

They didn't pass the buck. The law is clear isn't it? Why would people want The Supreme Court to legislate from the bench?

The law is clear. And SCOTUS refused to provide their opinion on the clear before them, and told Congress to enforce the law.

That is what is called Passing The Buck.

I think quite a few of those "Republican's" want the type of democracy that will bring back the Biblical-type principles that our country seems to have been founded upon. You know..."One Nation under God" and all. Freedom for ALL (including Christian believers) and not just those who are pushing a woke agenda.

NO. That part is already in the law. 😎

They didn't pass the buck, and that particular part wasn't the main issue to rule on. States' Authority was the main issue.

They decided (smartly) NOT to legislate from the bench. 😃

Scary stuff as anyone can be elected to office or be influenced while in office.

The political landscape is Progressives vs Constitutionalists. There is no Repubican/Democrats anymore.

I prefer Americans and Domestic Enemies

No , it is One Branch of the Federal Government Acknowledging that the Authority to Make Law lies in the Congress and Senate , and Not in the Judiciary .
