What makes you think this, exactly? I don't wanna jump to conclusions but 90% of the time when I see people say this, they're under one of two false impressions:

1. That defense spending make up the majority of our government spending.

or

2. That the defense industry is our biggest industry.

Neither of those is even close to accurate. I'd be happy to explain if it was one of those. If it's not, what other reason makes you think we "need" war?
